They gave me free money to play, so I can't complain to much.

Haven't played much on the site, I guess because I'm on so many others.

Freerolls are nice, especially on demand.

Well started americans cardroom in 2003 was first online room I played that day won first in tournament for 500 sports bet that turned into 5000 from betting football had requirement to bet etc.. was 500 starting chips all in rebuys everyone was playing like idiots and caught a serious rush of cards lol couldnt lose beginners luck online

That financed every poker site online haha and the rest was history till the govt ruined everything

And yes I have lost money on sites going under MANY times but no complaints I have won often and was very happy. Anyway acr is still a site play all the time now have leagues etc.. for blackchip so playing there also often and blackchip can get notes to work acr I cant so is FRUSTRATING cause quality of opponents leaves a lot to be desired certain days. I call it bingo playing not poker.

Anyway review is good not great and giving a six and will talk to CS to figure out the note thing

Will up to 7 if can fix that!

As We all know for american players its a tough choice. I have had more success on ACR then Carbon with the merge network. We all get swings but with Carbon having for me personally large downswings and little upswings. I moved over to acr. Wish there were more players with back in the good old days with FTP and PS but that's another topic! Not bad. I like it.

I like ACR because of the On-demand Free-rolls and the Late-Reg. options they have on most of their tourneys. Highly recommended for those in the USA that live outside of NV and NJ. See you on the tables.

So far I have to say I am pretty impressed. More freeroll options for freerollers like myself. Yea the graphics are a little cheesy but I adapted fairly quick. Didn't even need to deposit because I was able to cash on one of their many freerolls. They also have a Sportsbook which I love. Haven't seen much that I don't like so far, but I will update as necessary if I do.

This is one of my favorite online card rooms for American players. They have realy stepped up there game recently bringing bigger tourneys and now they have the 1 million GTD. That's crazy for an American site. They also give rakeback on here 27% and have a high volume of players as well as the highest stakes for cash games. They have a freeroll going every 30 minutes and a freeroll leaderboard that pays tourney tickets to the top 15 and first gets a ticket to the big 215 dollar tourney. Great rewards system and fun site all around.

I really don't see a lot of interesting things about this site. About the only good thing I found about ACR is the us traffic. Much of that has to do with online poker gaining speed again in the us and less to do with ACR doing much for promoting their site.

The integrity of the players hasn't changed, and the software is forever glitchy. Disconnects and downtime are a usual occurrence. Though they do offer small stake on demand tourneys, which I don't mind.

Love acr as far as tourneys and cash games.. but i wonder why nobody ever talks on the site ever??Seems odd and fishy to me but i have won a little money there, so i guess its just most people are on other skins and cant cheat with you idk.

ACR is a good site in that it pays out quickly and has P2P transfers. The software needs some attention/improvement imo, but it is playable.

I have stuck with BCP over ACR. I wasn't able to get RB on ACR, so it was an easy choice to play BCP instead. I also have noticed most players play on BCP over ACR. I would give BCP an 8/10, so ACR would be a 7/10

I'm pretty happy with the site so far....I haven't cashed out, but all the research I've done says its super fast. Oh One guy I read about got his money from WU in 10 hrs!!!!! They offer $10.00 on demand freerolls, and I'm currently at their $0.50 $25 grtd games which run all day that are called On demand which is like a SnG style certain number of people sign up and it starts.

I would say one draw back is their bigger games have a huge amount of late reg. Which means longer games. Its not a draw back for me because I use to spend 12 to 15 hrs a day on Pokerstars because of their large fields. the normal with ACR on their long late leg is about a 6 hr trny.

The fields in the game I play are pretty soft. Not a ton of great players in the micro games at all so you can really build a roll grinding
. All in all I say this is one of the top sites for US players.

America's cardroom is one of the few sites that allows US players. The software is a little dated. The cashier can be funny sometimes, it'll show a zero balance and than with a refresh your balance will reappear. Sometimes you'll try to register for a game and it'll say you haven't got enough funds when you do. This requires you to go to the cashier and do a refresh. ACR needs to work on these issues. It's nice that ACR has a P2P option to transfer funds to other players, it makes staking a lot easier. The sit-n-gos are not too plentiful and it can be difficult to find a game in the off hours. They have something called "On Demand" which is like a sit-n-go that allows late registration, ugh. There's a lot of guarantee games daily with incredibly long late registration periods. ACR is not too bad for those with limited choices.

American Card Room is getting better. I love that they have good overlays on alot of tourneys most make the gtd. The sitngo take a few to fill up still. they have freerolls which is becoming rare nowadays. they are sisters with Black Chip Poker now on the winning network. This is where i play now. great pay outs quick too

Good customer support...the site seems to have moved beyond their server problems that they use to have (hopefully, it has been a long time since a crash)...good leader-board promos...late-registrations are too long but that is the same everywhere now...good on-demand freerolls...good player reward bonuses...sit n go tournaments need more players but they have promos working on fixing that.

I play Black Chip more but have palyed this site as well they have these on demand games ..once they get to 270 playyers they start and have late reg till like level 7 so there is always a game to play when u get on this site they prize them at 10 dollars so 10 get paid ,,,,,,it's brutal they get to 500 players and more depending on the time u jump on......gl in these very loose play but designed so there are very fww sitouts unless u get on early morning

The software is not too bad on Americas Card Room , but is does take a little bit to get use to . I like the on demand games that they offer . I played in the on demand freerolls just before Christmas and won a few dollars but I'm not crazy about the $50.00 minimum deposit that is required . I also like the idea of the player to player transfer and it seems pretty easy to use . Hopefully the traffic volume will increase and it will provide yet another good site to play poker on .

America's Cardroom is a pretty good option for USA players. The problem is you have to choose between ACR and BCP and BCP has the edge. Mostly because of the p2p dnamic. You can't transfer from ACR to BCP. Since more people are using BCP you want to be on the skin that has the most volume. I would play on ACR if it wasn't on the same network as BCP. I just think when it comes to the winning network BCP is the best choice. I wonder if the sites will eventually break off like all the merge skins have. Overall ACR is pretty soft, good value tournies. And the fact they have p2p is great for USA players

Once again, I have only just recently become an 'ACR' player and fan.

They have daily ON DEMAND freerolls. Which is excellent practise for a rookie like me.
I was extremely impressed with ACR's support team. Assisted me with my query chop-chop.
I have to mention the many promotions they have to offer. With LeaderBoards that I do hope, one day soon my player ID will be somewhere close to the top.
ACR software is excellent.
I have never played this type of software before. I really cant find anything to complain about.
As soon as I discovered that BCP is it's brother. I immediatley opened an account there too.

The P2P is such a great feature. I really wish more poker rooms would add this to their software too.

I think the set up is ok, I don't like how you cant change the screen sizes, lobby takes up too much room but , its all good, they have their Christmas 1000 freeroll that is pretty good, its a turbo fest but if you can get lucky, there you go.

The software takes a little getting used to..needs a little updating, in my opinion. They offer the 'demand' games, for micro players, which are usually pretty quick and can be fun to play. When one changes to a different table and you do not fall into the blinds (if I'm saying that right) unlike other sites. The downside for me, the sng's take forever to fill.

I've been a fan of ACR simply because of their pre-paid debit card option. I've never had problems with withdrawls or deposits in the least bit.

The software is pretty good, but I really don't care for their structures for most of their events. Pretty much everything there is 15 minute structures, and not much in terms for smaller rolled players.

Their SNG traffic is almost nothing too, which is what I predominantly play. Waiting hours for a mid stakes 6-9 man gets old after a while.

I havent played here a whole lot. I do like the feel of the software and the selection of MTT's they offer. I'm not able to make a deposit currently until a cashout from another site comes through. I do plan on rolling some money into it soon.

The constant $10 freerolls are kinda cool but I would like to see them maybe pay down 20 places instead of 10. 3 stars over all and I hope to get into some buy-ins soon.

I made the mistake of depositing there on the recommendation of a friend. The graphics there are terrible with the amount of space the table takes. Whoever programmed this should scale back. Selection of games is what I look for and it isn't here. So now....I have money sitting but only play the freerolls late at night when I can't sleep as nothing else is of interest to me.

I am not a fan of the graphics at America's Cardroom, nor the lack of traffic during the early morning. The freerolls are mediocre and so are the promotions. The players are looser than other sites I've played on. The tournaments and sit and gos seem to move pretty fast which is a plus.

...I recently started playing here since poker.org made it n option to move cash funds from my rewards balance to their website after they had to remove the carbon poker room from there as an option. I have been playing a few of their freerolls, find it a bit easy to cash whetehr it's a cash freeroll or a tournament coupon ticket that is up for grabs in a freeroll.

I like the look and feel of the table once it loads, the action moves nice and easy in the platform. I do wish all the playform was on the same window, when uou click tournaments a new platform window will apear, you can have three or four windows up at one time just looking for stuff, makes it a bit confusing as to which window to close later.

I did like the speed at which they accpeted the transfer from poker.org to their poker client of my cash funds, it was only four days for the request to be processed and two of theosse days were on a weekend. I found that to be extremly fast. I have requested to moved the rest of my cash funds from my rewards balance to the poker room and hopefully I can build it into a major bankroll like the good ol days.

I have not yest tried to remove any funds from the poker client, I'll cross that bridge if and when that day ever happens. I do want to say the support system there answered a few emails form me in record time, had three issues I wanted to discuss and all three emails were answered and replie dto within 20 minutes, talk about fast...

Americas Card Room is my favorite site for multiple reasons. Its shuffler seems most realistic. New software looks and feels great and it is player to player transfer friendly. Only problem is my refusal to deposit limits my activity. The mtts are not all that grinder friendly. I have a small bankroll. Mainly participate i the freerolls.

Since the software upgrade, its a much better site than it was. Everything is just so much easier and smoother now, whereas before, I used to get some terrible lag sometimes, that now, is thankfully eliminated completely.

I have had zero problem cashing out, but get this, I wanted t orelaod the other day with a good offer. I was PREVENTED from depositing before my credentials for Skrill shecked out. Somehow, it doesn't carry much more integrity than that in the poker world, in my opinion. But I have obviously not read what KM has read and maybe my opinion would change if I were to read that [hint hint]

I'm liking ACR a lot since I've been able to build a small bankroll from the RTR and Nuts forum freerolls. Pretty much the same as BCP. The upgraded software is a lot better. Needs more traffic though. Was surprised to see an ad last night for it (the .net version anyways) on ESPN. Maybe it will build. That would be good.

This site is looking really nice since the software update. I like the ease of the player to player transfer. Payouts are not a hassle. Traffic is an issue for me and worth a couple stars as I am a sng player mostly and they take forever to fill up. If traffic ever increases enough I think this site could be a 4 or 5 star site for us americans.

The new sofware update really makes things run alot smoother! I play on ACR and BCP as they are both the same and share the sngs, both have had a positive software update and a big improvement. There use to be so much lag and now its gone! I recommend giving it another try, if you havnt visited ACR lately, because its open to US players and you can actually cash out. Yes the min deposit of $49 is alot but, at least you know you can get it back if you have some luck at the tables. There are a variety of games with low entries so it makes it a bit easier for cashing as well. Good Luck!

I like the interface, one of the best cashiers available to the US. Soft room, I took down a big freeroll once on this site and have done well since then. Seems like a very honest skin and hope to stay there for awhile. The tournament lobby and selection could definitely improve but I have also noticed improvements with them adding freerolls and lower stake mtts to attract micro grinders. The actual tables could use some work, but if its the cosmetics that are the skins biggest problem, I would take it. I hope improves over time, their player base is growing fast.

I like the layout and that they have free rolls running all day. The only thing dissappointing about both ACR and BCP is that their average regular tournament is $5 or more and that the SNG traffic is often low. It's also awesome they finally let in KY players

Least favorite room of those available to me. As far as graphics go, The table takes up more space in the frame than is necessary, and the player info is too small . . . it's like the table is an full acre of wasted space IMO. Game selection is terrible, IMO, no multi-table SNG's, MTT's are virtually all rebuys . . . Play a few micro Single table SNG's there when I get the itch

This is a solid poker room. The only thing I do not like about it is it does not offer a mac client, so if I want to play on this software, I have to fire up my own windows computer which barely functions. They have solid tourneys there for a small network and their cashout speeds tend to be above average for US players. Its a good SNG community since you see the same players every once in a while so it could be an easy way to grind for some money.

I personally don't like the set-up, and it reminds me of Lock, which i despise. The payouts seem to be okay, and the players are average run of the mill people. I'm concerned about the integrity of the site after reading about them on a well respected site.
