I really enjoy playing on BCP. Black Chip Poker was one of the first merge sites I played on before the partnered with Americas Card Room. I have always liked Black Chip and I think they have a great game selection. They are continuing to evolve and cater to each kind of player and the on demand tourneys are great. They also run good promotions and Winning Network is the only sites I play on (BCP, ACR, and True) aside from Merge skins and Bovada. For US players, this is one of the top five sites if not top three. The only thing I don't like about it is you cannot download your own avatar. There are also a wide variety of payment methods, but checks are always reliably delivered within three weeks in all of my experiences. Its also great for non-depositors because you can build a bankroll with the on demand freerolls, which I did and it seems like a lot of others have as well.

I play on BCP more then ACR even thought they are the same pretty much for some reason BCP seems kinder to me lmao When I first started playing there it was a merge site which I played at a lot as they ran ladies games. Then they switched and I went for the ride. I play a lot of forum games on BCP and have had a lot of success there I withdrew a cheque for $500 last year and then I went on a downswing!! go figure but all in all they paid without any issues and they have tons of games to choose from I play a lot of sngs so that's where I am usually on that site trying to build a small bankroll into something better. I hope to start playing more of the satties soon and try to catch a seat into the big game in January.

I like this poker site, it is just another skin of ACR but I love ACR. The only reason I don't like this skin as much is because it will not let me deposit on it for some weird reason. I contacted support and they couldn't even help me with the deposit so I was a little bummed about that. Other then that the site has good traffic for low as well as high stakes and has some soft games as well as difficult ones.

To me its the same as ACR, but i chose Black chip in the end over Acr just because i have never heard anything bad about them, both of the rooms softwares lag but i just felt safer with Black CHips especially since from what i gather it was a popular place to play when with the Merge Network but i could be wrong.

I do not like the Black Chip Poker software. I also tend to freeze up a lot there so I avoid playing there. I do not see as much action in the sit and gos. I also would like to see more players in the variants of poker such as Omaha.

It's a room that's US friendly but unfortunately it also carries the same tone of, "Don't call us we'll call you". Aside from the SNG promotions they really fall short of what regulars would consider to be comparable to other sites.

The software is solid but the tournament selection is terrible for micro and low state grinders, obviously a cash players site

Has P2P transfer so I do a lot of my trading through them, payouts are the fastest of US sites in my opinion

My favorite cash game site but don't play any tournaments there

I had no clue that Black Chip Poker and Americas Card Room were related...

I did find out... oh so quickly though.... It is a shame that you can't have both poker rooms open at the same time - as they are both on the same network.

Besides that, they offer a variety of tables, tourneys, leagues, promos and regular frerrols. Which are absolutely fantastic.

Earning player points benefits are an added bonus with the rewards.

Player to player transfer is always is a big plus in my books.
I really enjoyed the freerolls and promos that they held over the festive season.

The software is very slick with not too many updates. I am very happy to have added this to my collection of poker rooms

Pays out in 24 hours good games not many trolls good site !!!!!!! for you free rollers out there they have an on demans free roll when enough people sign up they start. so you can pretty much play a free game when ever you want 1. I have never played the heads up matches but their is always a bunch of people in there as well.

Black Chip Poker has too few players for it to be really viable as a great poker room. If you are US based then you are way better served just joining Carbon or Bovada. Obviously this site has a preference for Carbon but is because it is the largest poker room for US based players with good reason. Back Chip Pokers UI is pretty darn horrible too and the sound systems that they have are really bad at alerting you of cards or positions. The fact that they almost never have full tables should just drive you away, and their promos are not that great.

Go with Carbon!

LIKE THE SIT N GO'S, but the tourneys are small and late reg is 7 days. sit n gos'=10 tourny's= 2
overall= 9 It would be nice if freerolls didnt have 10 min blinds and late reg. playing poker if fun, but playing for 3+ hours and not getting anything or maybe $.55 seems like it can be a waste of time.....but i do like poker

Blackchip is okay if it wasnt for pokerowned or the $10 freeroll on demand then i probably wouldnt even play there the software is very sketchy n lags alot other than thats its okay but carbon is still my fav actually any merge site is good

The software is kinda slow and bulky in my opinion, and i think they need to offer a little more games for the micro players otherwise its good. Payouts are timely and reliable. I think they are just a few steps away from being a big competitor of Carbon and Bovada

I started playing on Black Chip Poker in September 2013. I started playing their $10 OnDemand Freerolls. I was able to cash on these consistently back in September 2013. Then, all of a sudden I was unable to cash there anymore. This sudden inability to place in those tourneys coincided with a $450.00 cashout I made; It seems like as soon as i made the cashout from my account, I no longer could place in their freerolls.

This could be a psychological thing; maybe i just started playing bad? Maybe the games got tougher? Whatever it was, it really impelled me to stop playing there for like 5 or 6 months. I just started playing their freerolls again this month. It still seems I am unable to cash in a single freeroll (compare this to september 2013 when I would regularly cash).

so who knows.

One thing i like about Black Chip Poker is the fact that they charge less rake than other US-Friendly Poker Sites like Carbon.

Another thing I liked about the winning poker network in general was the fact that my withdrawal was processed expeditiously...I had money in hand within three weeks when i chose the check method for a cashout of $450.00. And, of course, they did not even charge me a fee for that withdrawal: 1 withdrawal per month is free. this is a great policy that other sites should model their withdrawal structures upon.

So, cashing your money out will probably not be a problem (unless my situation was a fluke).

But when it comes down to it, if I can't trust that a site I'm playing on is fair, I'd rather not play there at all. Something seemed fishy to me about my wild success with their freerolls in september 2013 and my inability to cash in even one in 2014. So, for what it is worth, I take off a few stars based on this mistrust.

I have had no problems depositing to BCP. Paypower.com or netspend Visa brand. There are fees but affordable. Ewallets had similar fees so peeps should not complain. Also used it to depo on Carbon and Fullflush. The reentry tours are annoying with 3 hours of re entry..... Not many micro tours if thats your thing. Cash tables at micro stakes have been kind of fish filled. Seems you can raise
5-6 times the blinds and get calls. Not sure the network is the safest out there but im pretty sure the goal of online poker rooms is to attract more players not scare them off so I always give most sites a chance. I choose BCP over ACR I wont even open ACR anymore.

Deposit options are about as limited for US players as any other site, however the on demand freerolls give you plenty of chances at building a bank roll. This also attracts a lot of bingo players, but if you survive the donks in the first couple levels the play gets nice and tight - many decent players and not too many ridiculous bad beats. Overall I play BlackChip most - being able to jump in a freeroll at any time of day gives me plenty of chances to refine my tournament game even if the stakes are low.

As I generally play micro buyins, I'm not overly fond of this site. There always seems to be a lot of games available, especially with the sit and go's however, they take forever to fill. I don't play there often... the odd freeroll and occasionally the Demand games. I just don't get much from the mtt's, given all the non-thinking shoving regardless of the buyins. Just a few lasting memories I have of the site.

I like BCP and there cashouts are way quicker then Carbon I really wish poker.org would take some insight to BCP and think about moving our games over there for a change of pace. I play in another lg and they have all types of games there they play in there lg not just nlhe. Carbon is just getting old and I don't care for how they run their site but that's just me. Pots

This is one of the best sites for USA players right now. The best thing about this site is p2p transfers. It allows you not to worry about leaving money online. You can sell it to other plays in real time across the world. I also this their tourney structures are pretty good. I would like to see a couple more good value guaranteed tournies. And a few more tournies during the week. Overall I think the play is pretty soft. This is a good site for any USA players

I think BCP is one of the best online poker rooms for americans! It has the best cashout methods and you can usually count on your AA or KK holding up. But dont count on hitting a set of 88 or lower!

The selection for MTT's is very poor, and there is barely any action on the cash games. Personally I don't even like the interface of the software as it is, and I feel like it doesn't offer enough to have to play with that type of interface. Overall the site as far as my opinion goes is a bust and I won't be playing there unless things change drastically.

Haven't had the chance to play on Black Chip, because despite it being here posted as open for WA players, that is not the actual case. But with it now using the same software as ACR, I would guess it is about the same.

I like black chip and I have won a little through free rolls there. Carbon is still my go to site, but if carbon were to go away tomorrow BCP would be my next choice, plus I have heard that their pay out system is great. I love the idea of having a debit card to get to your funds even if there is a monthly fee involved.

Seriously, the absolute worst online poker site i've played on PERIOD. This site will go broke as soon as states like NJ , NV, and DE go legal. Big online sites with more realistic play will eat this site up .

Black Chip isn't bad. It's US friendly so that's a plus. I like the interface, but it's a little difficult for me to read the small print in the lobby. Not a whole lot of traffic though, and little selection of ring games and low-stakes tournaments.
