I'm sure this question has been posed to the forum before now(if so I apologize for a repeat thread)...
I get the feeling most people play under the merge skins, and being Canadian, I am lucky enough to play several sites, but wondered what was the favourite within the forum. I find myself playing on Carbon (which is far from my favourite) or Hero mostly due to many of my American friends opting for that site.

Have noticed in the past, how many times people will say they dislike the 'merge' network, so what other online network is preferred, before and after 'Black Friday'?

I gotta agree with wingman,AP and UB is where i started i never had to deposit there won a few freerolls and just built up from there,i remember when i tried my first withdraw, thats when i found there little dum loophole, you had to deposit there to cash out,so i was happy to deposit min.$10 bucks to cash out for my first 1k a few days later,i have cashed out on carbon and a few others since but ub and ap i will always miss, black friday took a good bit of my poker money as others lost alot to,usa land of the free,it use to mean something but freedom is just a word polititions use as a pacefier now,we think we free because thats what they tell us,its just words that dont mean much anymore, just like "we the people" and in god we trust, its still on our money but schools cant do prayers anymore,im getting wound up better stop but you get what im saying,i guess only way we will ever be truly free again is if the south does rise again,i bet if the white house was here in the south we would be playing online poker and depositing cashing out no problem,i never seen nothen rwong with saying a prayer before school, and since all this change you notice when we was free as kids saying a prayer before school,if a disagreement occored we would fight and argue untill it was settled, now these kids just pull guns and start popping caps untill one is dead or hurt bad,why not a good old fashoned fight, well because god isent allowed in school anymore,we the people has no voice anymore because freedom is only meant for our government, and used as pacafiers for the rest,if the south was to rise again in the name of freedom and for 'we the people',i bet most the north would be on our side this time lol,,i better stop there before FBI is at my door lol, they better bring the ATF also, because i have alcohaul tobacco and firearms,i guess you could call it tobacco, lol

Without a doubt it was pokerstars with over 250,000 people playing at any given time I could open up mutiple tables watch for reckless play and wait ti join the table and take advantage of lees skilled players. I also liked the pokerschool online I won the month of febuary playing against 12,000 other members and it put me in a tourny of only 12 players the monthly winners for a shot at the WSOP then black friday came and could not play. They also had a rags to riches promotion that if you won which i did you got in the final only 120 players top 50 were paid top 3 got WSOP prise packages I liked my chances I think the final table paid at least 1,000 4th was 5,000 so for a small buy in you could win big with a small player pool I think I won 1,500 for winning the monthly league all I know is I miss my pokerstars...

Pokerstars, they had games going all day every day for all type's of players. Loved PSO. Unfortunately I was not able to play there very long before Black Friday but I have faith I will play there again some day. Not very fond of Merge. Until then I guess I will stick to playing on Seals with Clubs. Not about to put money on another site after what happened on Hercules until its regulated here in the good ole US of A. If that day ever come's.

Pre Black friday was FullTilt as a favorite. Full Tilt Poker Academy was my baby. You'd earn player points completing their many real money challenges.
I was playing alot of Merge until release 6.0 went in.
This next week will be my 4th week of playing Bovada the most. Then their 4 week promo will be over. http://www.poker.org/player/eberetta1/blogs/tuesday-july-17th-2012-new-bovada-promo/
I am in a transition still on what is my favorite poker site is currently. I guess I have to say
I have been getting to minimum cashout, then cashing out on 5 sites in the last 5 months
before I head to Florida for the winter. Just got paid on Intertops.
Just requested cash for Carbon, so should receive funds by last week of September.
Won $15 on Cake today, so will be hammering Cake for a $550 cash soon.
Optimus on the Merge network is my highest Merge site bankroll I am working on getting a cashout done, sometime here within the next 3 weeks.
Followed by Black Chip. Still deciding whether to do a withdrawal or deciding to get to 1000 player points on Black Chip to qualify for a monthly $750 freeroll every month for the rest of my poker life, here.
After September, I do not do withdraws for 8 months, building my bankrolls back up on as many sites as possible. Then do the withdrawal process slowly starting up in late May, early June.

Notice so far the big guns were mentioned. Certainly not Merge.

Haha yeah I'm sure that if everybody had a choice it would be Full Tilt/Poker Stars / UB even. However, (except for CharmingShells the original poster) everybody here is American, and unfortunately we just can't play there anymore.

I'm personally a big fan of intertops just because they have a relatively small freeroll (limited to 250 players) and a sportsbook as well. I know that intertops is now closed off to new US players as well, so that may not be a good sign.

I actually like Carbon as well. I realize that all of the sites are shattered in comparison to the old Full Tilt and PokerStars.

I forgot to mention Full tilt, their freerolls for the entry into World Series of Poker were a blast, built up a few tickets to the second stage. Then Black Friday came along.............When the day come's that US players can play there again ill play there again. Didn't really like their cartoonish software but hey. Railing the Durr challenge was great also, always wondered what it would be like to have a bankroll to play the nose bleed stakes. But then again if I had a major bankroll like Durr I could play the micro's the rest of my life without worrying about going broke. Change my screen name to Shove Monkey and play any two card's all in poker...lol....kidding.

@Uppinsmoke, one of the best things about Full Tilt was all the promotions and stuff they did. It's gonna be like Christmas if the US government will let the main poker sites back online in the US

I think it's safe to say,UB/AP, Fulltilt and Pokerstars has been missed amongst the Americans. With any luck, the opportunity to play on FT and PS will return soon.

I really liked Doyles Room when it was at Micro Gaming,,, Absolute also, because you could always find a 7 stud high/low game 24/7.... Didn't care for PokerStars but really liked FullTilt even tho they screwed me out of my money..Take care

I like Europoker myself, unfortunately it's not open to American players. To me that's a plus since the US DOJ can't go after them. But, there's lots of bonuses available and withdrawels were fast. I used to like Rush poker on FT..I haven't got around to trying Pokerstars version.

I never trusted UB/AP after the Superuser fiasco. I really liked FTP and Pokerstar until Black Friday. Minted was easy money until they pulled out of the US. Now, I've settled with Merge.

I personally miss Full Tilt a lot . I liked the layout , the times of the games & the variety of games that it had . I also had a lot of information on players at the Full Tilt site , that's now gone . I hope that type of layout comes back in the future .

I always liked cake. I never had problems when I deposit or withdrew from them. ANd I made a good nest egg from there. And lost it. I made a miracle $10 freeroll win to 1k in a week. I done that 2x on cake.

I was a big Doyle's fan used to play there the most then it switched to the cake network and seemed to start down hill from there. Then when ACR bought it it really went down I played ring holdem on there mostly but when it went to ACR it got hard to find two tables let alone four which is what i normally played on there. So now after BF I find myself on Felt Stars most of the time so would have to say for now that is my favorite room.

I did like FT because of all the promotions and free money up for grabs. The software was great there also but never did build much of a bank roll there. I never cared for UB/AP that much not sure why but they just never grabbed me for some reason.
