I have only seen 1 guy fold AK after an all in or after a second allin and it was Elky in the Premier League. The Pros never fold AK,amateurs never fold AK,don`t know if I have ever not called an Allin with AK...maybe at the beginning of a tourny i don`t remember...can someone honestly say yes I`ve folded AK and if your going to lie about make a good story as to when you did it!!

I have folded AK before.it is situational though. if its a freeroll and my attitude is 'dont care' i would make this call but otherwise if theres a raise and a reraise ahead of me, i will fold. i will call one person all in but if someone else ahead of me calls, i will fold. providing my reading of players at the table is tight and/or my chip stack is greater than 10bb, these are the instances i can fold AK. that said, i do not like to fold it sometimes and a few times had i stuck around i wouldve won, also a few times i wouldve lost, so take it for what its worth.

Yes, I folded the AK, and often in many situations. I folded while others called all in and had AA. It was inspiring. I folded the AK vs flush, full house, straight. Some would say bad strategy. We observed that 95% of players, all in the AK. I play with patience the hand, check, reise, depending on what other players require. If I do not get anything on the flop or turn throw them down.

Yeah I've folded AK pre before. Good stack near the bubble with chance to do deep. Even size came out 4 or 5 bb and a 3/4 size stack shoved I was next to act. folded. Really.... Quarter Quicky at 12:00 on Carbon I finished second won like $6.00. The original raiser called with KK 3/4 stack had QQ hit a Q on the turn. no K's or A's around. I'm kind of suprised you've never seen or heard of it before. I'm sure it wasn't the only time I've done it. Folding KK in the right spot now that's a trick!

Sure I've folded AK preflop in the past. It hasn't happened too often, mind you, but there are situations when it just makes sense. Situation one: You're in a satellite where the top 10 when an entry. You have a decent stack and it's bubble time. There are two all-ins ahead of you, why call? Of course you're going to fold. Situation 2: There's 3 or 4 all-ins ahead of you, you know you'll be up against a few pocket pairs, hell, I'm folding AK. AK is a great starting hand, but let's face it, it's still a drawing hand and you're probably folding it post flop if you don't catch.

I fold AK a lot. To a shove preflop, you have to be hoping for a race at best. If the pot odds aren't right, if the tournament equity isn't right, then a call isn't right either.

Yes, I have definitely folded AK in an allin, but each time the situation for one or more reasons, it was the right call to make at the time. I still had a chip n chair and others did not.

AK is easy fold preflop. So many people overplay AK in my opinion.

My last Tunica trip with one limper I made it 20 to go got one caller and the min raiser min 3bet, I showed the guy next to me my hand and tossed it. He said you folded that to that raise, the other two in the hand would up all in QQ VS KK and a queen hit on the flop. I fold AK quite often in cash games.

All make the choice a easy one.

I folded one today as there were 2 allin ahead of me, and one was a team mate. As it stood, I would have got crushed by both hands, lol. Good Luck all.

AK is not as strong as a hand as a lot of people think. I have had many reasons(and made good folds) for folding it, pre n post flop.

I have folded AK several times because of allins in front of me. If you get one allin and then someone reraises allin then your AK doesnt look so good anymore. Or if you are really close to the money and you just dont want to gamble with a non made hand I will fold just to make ssure im in the money. AK is so over rated and it is a good hand to fold in certian situations.

I fold Ace-King when I think someone has a large pair,,, I don't like to put all my chips in on a coin flip. Of course there are many things that would affect that action, am I short stacked,, are the pot odds right to make the call etc. Of course I'm a pretty tight player to start with. Anyway. See you on the felt.

In last time i have really lots of problems with this AK hand , i always lots and makes me really dissapointed , as i rightly remember last few times i loose AK vs AA , and it was 2 times in a row , just hard to type that , in this weekend i loose AK vs A9 , so now , i really mus say , that i will think at least twice , before i will make any move with this hand , i,m scared of this hand anyway i think most of ppl will continue call all in with AK because of thinking this is really a strong hand.
