In? your opinion what is the best hand to go all in with right from the start

In a freeroll, if I have on the first hand, I will shove all in.
If a loose player does not call, then the rest of the table sees me as a maniac. If I get called and lose, then I did not waste much time on a freeroll

AA,KK, or QQ is the only hands i will do that with, maybe an evil lil suited connector if im in late position and alot of ppl have already shoved, chances are they share outs and you have live cards with good potential to flop big

I have to agree with the supernit. you dont shove all in unless you have premium hand. Or unless ur in late postion ppl more then likely r sharing outs like he said is true....U more then likely have live cards so a call with suited connectors might not be bad move.

There's no hand good enough to go AI PF in the start of a tour, unless:

1. Someone else goes AI before you, and you have AA, KK or QQ.
2. You've lost a lot of chips early on, and must go AI.

I find it funny to see players go AI PF early on, ending picking up 30 chips. It's so stupid, sorry, but it is

In just starting any type of a tournament outside of the ring games I refuse to push on my opening hand but if I must AA but as you all know any thing and every thing is bound to happen at that point tyvm take care hojo64.

U shud always go all in with a high pair like qq or kk or aa if u hav the chips or its the start of the tourney. i recently made a mistake of calling first when i had pocket queens then going all in when there was an ace on the table. Someone else had an ace and i lost. just feel its always better to go all in with a high pair but not with AK or QJ etc.

So you mean that even if no one has called yet, you should go all in? No raise, just AI?

I am with you. Going AI for 30 chips is stupid. But if I have AA, I will shove, because there is always someone stupid who will call. Problem is, that you somtimes have 2 or 3 poeople who will call you.

That,s not a simple question , because all games are different and individual , some day you can find fish at the tables , that goes all in with bad hands , or some people juts don,t want to spend much time on freeroll game , if they see for example hands , like AT , they just go all in , they want to double up fast and play seriously or lost and don,t waste time , anywat they have a chance with anyhand , so ,it,s their descision , anyway , i,d better wait for serious hand.

A important part of the game of poker is making the best of the hand that you get and getting the best value that you can get out of a great hand. I think playing an AA hand depends on your positon at the table. Going all in with an AA may give you a win for that hand and you will pick up everyones blind unless someone else also has AA. If you want to make more bux on that hand you could make a bet and let people bet and put out more money on the table. I think that what you do with that hand depends on your position. If you have an AA hnd and you are the first to bid, going all in might end that hand , and you many not get all the value that it has out of it.

You have to know the players at the table to be sure about that. I suppose that in a huge freeroll that there might be someone who'll call, but can you be sure?

My favorite hand to shove is AA. I lose more often than not with it, but it just looks so pretty.

No hand is really good enough to jsut shove all in with... managing your chip stake will allow you to fold AA KK QQ after a flop comes that might beat you.. seeing that there are so many players that like to play 98 TJ KQ there are so many flops that can beat AA KK so i say shove only if you have late position to move other mid hands off and maybe go heads up with the loose canon at the table.

Going all in pre flop is really just starting to seem like the worst idea. i mean everyone likes to shove AA then cry when suited connects smash them sometimes seeing flop is a great idea, instead of blindly shoving

I usually never shove really early in a tourney, even w/ AA unless it's a huge donkament freeroll, then anything goes, but other than that, a 3 or 4x bet usually works out better.

I normally don't shove all in that early in a tourney. Sometimes not at all. It depends on the hand, the people that I am playn wit and how they play, and also my position at the table. Would it benefit me to shove all in and do a coin toss or slow play it and get value. Good luck to you both on and off the felts. *hugs*
