Off course. It sometimes depend of situation. If there is two players before me all in I will fold. If it is really tight player who got me covered sometimes I will fold. But in most cases Im prepered to go all in with AK in tourneys.

Ak...I have to say that i really don;t enjoy this cards,because i end up loosing.If i rase preflop 4x i get 3 calls and the ace comes and i cbet,after that someone goes all inn...I usualy fold if I'm the first stage of a tournament...but if il late strage i call and i sucked out by as 5(5 on the river).If i go all inn is a mistake if i have over 25 BB-i done that one and i get called by JJ. I was cip lesder at that time..big mistake...never go all inn preflop with AK if u have over 25 BB...u can commit your hole tournament on one card.All inn all I play Ak all inn preflop if i have les then 20 BB in late staage of a tournament...and i rase preflop in midle and first stage.

Hell yeeeah, specially if its AKsbut 72o is not bad for allin preflop too

You have to learn to fold hands sometime.. if it determines my tournament life ...and how hard i worked to get to middle stage or even the late stage, i rather wait for a better opportunity to get it in ... i see my buddies shove AK just cuz its AK..which is really bad.. they would risk their healthy stack against the table villian and lose it after working to a good ranking. cuz its poker your playing and not a person.. also learn to note other players on how they play aces or how their betting patterns factor, it will help you make a better decision if you do decide to ship it . know why and what its worth.

Well all depends, but If i'm under 10bbs then it's an instant shove for me, but if I have a regular stack then i just raise normal. I think the beauty of AK is that you know where you are right away if it hits, but if it doesn't then it's super easy to fold

Yes. I think it's a pretty big mistake to fold AK pre because most of the time AA,KK are not jamming hands. As well as if your Jamming with Ten bb or less, you are going to have the potential to get called with worse hands.

It depends of position , stack , it's a relative question "will you go all in with AK?" . but ak is one of the good hands in poker and in most cases it worth going all in with it.

Just got bumped from the tourney by AK.

I open-raised pot from the button with 77.
AK took all my chips with an all-in reraise from the BB.

Maybe i should have been more conservative and folded but couldn't resist the chance to get a big stack early in the tourney.

Yes is possible go all in preflop whith AK, is good pocket for all in, after pray

After all, AK is still a drawing hand and not a made one. Even pocket deuces will win more often in the extreme long-run when played heads-up to showdown.

No i cant go in with AK but i guess if you feel lucky play your AK any way u like and good luck to ya

AK is the worst hand in poker for me! i always say to myself im not going to shove!! but most times i do.. i dont think its a shoving hand, but i think its best to see the flop at the min.

Many players do go AI with it PF, and mostly it seems that it hold home. I remember when I started playing poker, that it was impossible for me to fold the bl***** hand after the flop, as I thought I'll hit my A or K. So for those players it might aswell be better to just shove it PF

AKs yes, depending on stack, position number of players in the pot, player tendencies, do you want to fold them out or in the case of a calling station or over aggressive fish bleed them of money on several streets
AKu is a drawing hand which a pair of 2s can bet if unimproved, you have to know how to play position and other players. Going all-in may be correct depending on circumstances but you will fold out worse hands and invite pocket pairs to oppose you.

AK is the worst poker card......i think...i always lost with this cards!!

I think I would rather have AK than KK, Yes I will go all in pre flop with it, unless there is a big raise in front of me. Depends also on my chip stack, If I am low stacked, I go all in every time.

Only if your a gambler. somebodys pair will hit a set half the time your ace or king hits. 3 people with small pairs have the same percentage as your ak hitting! this is not a made hand. the only sure win is by hitting broadway on a rainbow board. good luck all-in

It depends on a million fucking factors, you know. It's such a dumb question to ask. If you just wanna make your points, at least describe a situation or something, tell us if it's a cash game, a SNG or a MTT, tell us if there's any action involved, give us some information. I can wager that your next post is gonna be "All-in with AQ? Tell me guys, do you shove AQ? How about AJ? or QQ?"... at least if you wanna make points on this forum bother writing 134234 lines on a dumb topic, like I do.
