I usally dont like the rebuy tourneys, I fell if you get knocked out you should stay out. I notice on the $1 rebuys there is always a few fish/donks going all in or calling all ins with any 2 cards. Man this is fustrating. I see them fish/donks build big stacks than tighten up. Is this a good stragity? Should I do the same or just wait for premium hands?

As a rule I dislike rebuys as well. It makes the trneys that much longer for one thing and yes, I agree if you are out you are out.
The best thing to do in a rebuy for me is to let the craziness happen and lay low for the first hour during rebuy time. I will then make the maximum add on if I can.

Unless you hit good cards when blinds are lo and you build a stack you should intend on buyin in a couple times to try and double or triple up and then play your tight game,if you arent doing it this way the players that are will be so far ahead you wont have much fold equity when you run into these players with the big stacks, just my opinion!

Rebuys are pretty easy, once you get the hang of them. The first thing to do is to rebuy immediately. That way you have the max to work with. Then, loosen up your play and see lots of flops. Don't go all-in with junk, however. When you have doubled your stack, tighten up.

I really don't care for the rebuys either or late registration of an hour or more.but i guess why sites do that for certain games is to make sure they get the gauranteed money for the game out of it so they don't have to pay anything out of their pockets.

Rebuys i tend to just really bet redicolous amounts with my good hands are reraise allin.. and build up a big stack, so i can tighten up.. if i dont do it the first couple rebuys i just leave, i play the $1 rebuys.

I really dont like rebuys or addon becouse some donks have money to blow on here and isn`t fair to a player try to build a bank for him/her selfyou might be in the top 10 and someone that get low stack just keeps on rebuying to he has a good take, thats why i hate rebuys and addon , mark you i do play them once in awhile but wont rebuy unless its cheep, lol

Ive seen them go all in every hand until they hit once for a big stack then they calm down---but spending 5$ in a dolla rebuy isnt too profitable in the long run

I only allow myself 3 bullets for Rebuy/Addons -- Double buy-in at the start and add-on if I make it to break. Usually I am not in a situation where I need to rebuy again at the add-on break, but on the rare occasion I will. I definitely hate the idea of being a rebuy monkey and blowing 7, 8, 10+ buy-ins only to bust fairly early. But those are the players that make rebuys profitable!

I generally don't play these much. And definitely do avoid high cost ones where the combined buyin+1xrebuy+addon violates a reasonable bankroll management plan.

I also play then tighter than the rest of the players. At least early.
But playing tighter than the other payers doesn't mean I'll turn away from what seems to be a positive value opportunity.
If a player has been an all-in, rebuying maniac and I have a chance to call HU, I may do so with more non-premium or marginal hands.

Often though, I'll play more conservative, have waited for good cards, and will rebuy once when my stack has dropped below about 30 BB. The addon is practically required unless I have a huge chip advantage.

The thing with rebuys is that people think of a 3.30 rebuy as a 3.30 buyin tourament. if played right , bankroll wise its a $9.30 + tournament. like mentor ill play 3 bullets and only rebuy for more if its a small enough or it been going well. also playing tight while everyone else is going crazy is a good idea. if your getting premium hands early you can build a good stack before addon. also people will continue play loose after the addon , which makes that a good time to pick up chips.

I feel like they are a good way to make a lot of profit in my opinion. Like some of you said earlier there are a lot of donks so if you just tighten up then you are able to play premium hands and once you make the money the payout is worth way more than a regular buy in tourney

It's not my favorite tournament with rebuy + addon but sometimes it could be good and fun tournament to play, but don't play rebuy and addon tourney without a decent bankroll for rebuying for it and maybe do addon.

Rebuys can be fun sometimes :)

I was in a rebuy/addon tourney this weekend. I put myself in a great situation to be ITM, but on the time to addon, I did not have the funds for an addon due to a recent cashout on the site, doh.

I will very seldom play and when I do I only play up to $1 rebuy and addons. A regular tourney I allow myself $5 entry tourneys, so I keep this magical($5) number in mind when.
Do not like to have invested more than a buck or two above that number. I even won't waste time for an addon if I see I am not close to being ITM.
