Donkeys get dealt good hands too. Just because someone is an idiot, does not mean they never get dealt aces

Lkport talking about me again... lol.
patience is one of the most important skill you can aquire, getting it in bad just because you havent had a playable hand in a while is one worst mistakes you can make.

The best tip I could give is to never get tilty. When you lose a hand or get a bad beat, handle it well. Just don't let the next hand be your all-in because your pissed off. As long as you can stay in a positive mood, that's a big key to success in my eyes.

Fold allot, i mean really fold most hands, play solid cards only ,no junk like K9 and crap like that. pl;ay in position , meaning be the last person to act as much as possible, if your going to play a hand you might as well be the one raiseing, calling bets will only bleed you out like a stuck pig. hope that helps and good luck on the felt

I agree with TheSuperNit u shud definitely fold a lot of hands and not call for everything coz ur chip balance is just gonna keep reducing and it wud b a problem as the ante keeps on raising. its better to call few hands ones with higher cards are preferable like for example pairs but only higher pairs like jj qq kk or aa or suited cards in sequence

Keep patience , during all the game , not afraid to fold good hands , if you have monsters for example , but you already know , that your enemy have better hand , just fold , that,s simple , and sure try some freeroll games , before you will play on your own money , one day you will get in cash , and try real money games for free , without any risk .

I say more you play the more you learn.. not every hand is a good hand and not every good hand is a winner!!! take you ups and your downs in stride.. remember your beats as well as your beat downs.. play smart but loose.. be able to fold monster hands... never play more than you can afford to lose.

I think theres no set way to play poker sometimes but u should know how to play when that is most important to survive or win in a tourney. Like for example if u are leading and there are other players on the table who have chips almost as much as u thats when u have to be most cautious to not raise too much because they could be holding something better than u. On the other hand if you are very low on chips and have a very good hand its better to take a chance raise a few bets if u dont take the risk the ante will ultimately kill u this is only if its towards the end of the tourney or else better to take it easy and not make any sudden big moves build ur stack slowly and steadily if the ante is not too much this is what i normally do works most of the time for me.

Get sleep... its such an underrated aspect of a poker players game. If your well rested others things such as your reads and tilt control will be at their highest.

That is such a broad subject. There are so many tips to learn in texas holdem. It will take you years to figure them out and put use to them. There are so many different situations that you discover as you start to learn the game. You will find out alot of them on your own. By getting in different hands. Allways learn from you mistakes. If you lose a hand, ask yourself what happened and what can I do to avoid the same results. I have been playing poker for quite a few years now and I feel like im still learning the game.

There is such a wide perspectrum about the game in general from the hands you should or shouldn't play, to your position at the table, to if your familiar wit anyone at the table etc. Surely if you take those into consideration as well as study some books, or videos maybe, and jus practice wit play chips to advance your game. Everyone learns in a different way as well as nobody plays the same as anyone else. I wish you the very best both on and off those felts. *hugs*
