I would prefer to register before the game starts, but late registration does offer the opportunity for alot of players to bust out. I like to watch the players even if I'm not in the hand.

I like to register before tourney starts, you can miss some good tourneys because you think it has late reg when it does not.

Like to play the tourney right from the start. I only late reg when I can“t make it before.

I prefer to register before the start, because I think that I am likely to get more chips if I register later go with a fixed number of chips and leavel be higher, and go very quickly from the tournament, so think but I rarely sign up for a tournament late registration, no reason I like these tournaments listed above

Like to be there when it starts. It gives you a chance to grow your chip stack before the blinds eat you alive. You can play a wider range of hands when the blinds are low.

I like to register early if you wait till late register someone has already got a big stack and the blinds are bigger.

Always best of registering before theggames so you cant start at the lowest blinds onlyy time i register late is if the blinds are sstill small

Definitely register for the beginning, if you register late and the blinds are too high you will be in trouble as soon as you sit in your seat!

I hate late registration wish they didnt even have it. I never join a game when it has started unless i was running late and had planned on this game then it would only be a few minutes into it befor i registered.

When you do late registration you are really depending on luck because your going to have a shorter stack than most people at the table and your going to have a much tighter calling range.

Missing out on early levels while stacks are deep is going to be a really bad choice for anyone who is a decent player & is able to play deepstacked poker (you miss out on HUGE oppurtunities for taking down massive pots when stacks are deep enough to play speculative hands in position (or in multiway pots with fish) while you have massive implied odds).

For good players it is obviously still +ev to late reg. (if they have a decent shove/fold shortstack game.. depending upon the structure) but just FAR better to reg. at the start.

For weaker players who lack postflop play (& deepstack play) skills... they might actually be better off to miss early levels (if they're bad enough to not be able to let go of TPTK type hands in early levels)... as long as they have a decent SS game (< which is often also unlikely... but is possible)

I rly like to be in a tournament from the start.it'a a good way to start with a decent stack cause there are a lot of players who play bingo in first 5-10 min.more on pokerstars then the other sites.

I like to register before it starts or within the first level so then the blinds havent gotten too large. However if the blind structure is such where they start out very small where you have a ton of play with say 300BB or more to start the game then I like to wait to register until later.

Prefer before because there is more chance to get strong hands
but if it 10 minutes running or rebuys allowed i register late too

I like to reg on time, I'm more comfortable. When I have to reg late, I know I'm going to run into someone who's already chipped up, so I feel forced into tighter play. I want to have the choice to play a little looser in the beginning, maybe then I can be one of those players who has chipped up early.

If the game has late registration i prefer to register at the beginning of tourney but my favorite choice of a game would be a freezeout with no late registration.

I like to register on time , to look at my competition & watch how the table is playing . I want my first hand to be a winner so I can gamble a little bit more . I find that I really tighten up if a lot of players have larger chip stacks than me & they tend to try to bully the rest of the table!
Those are the ones that I love to take their chips from them !
