Well potfan i think there is plenty of pushing going on out there i would call with it to see the flop then see what they do if they check give um a 6 or a 8 bet then if they call then start figuring the board on what they might have there are a lotta donks out there that love to push on nothing, i hope there here for as long as i live ,lol love those donks
i hate a rag i usely fold them even if i`m in a good position to push suited i will limp in with them

Depedent on blinds and opp. It all depens sometimes it can be suitable to shove allin ith 23 some times its good to shove with A3 on a button raise. It all depnds on opponents stack size. It woud be better if you gave certain hands with stak sizes and info on players. To help you know when you should and could shove.. for example if i had 10bbs i would be shoving loads of hands any suite connecters any ace mostly any kings. My shoving range is huge!

You must be playing good till you get close to bubble... that last step of the tourney is the one you need to change to get better results.
When you get to bubble you must have been playing more passive... but you have to chnage it and be more aggresive when you get close to bubble, remember most players with low stacks will be aiming for the money and playing just the top hands... you have to play position, and if you have a good stack... go for it. start stealing blinds from the weakest players on table...
good luck

I agree with giraug, most of the time you arent going to pick up those strong premium hands and so you will have to start shoving with a wider range such as any two face or like A8 and up as well as pocket pairs depending on what your position is. If you can help it try to push when there are other shorter stacks left to act because they are less likely to risk their tournament life with less than premium hands unlike bigger stacks.

Late in games its hard to play when you have 10 bb or under but anyone that knows me knows that im pushing with any 2 cards late cant let big stacks push you around becouse they love to do it

I see so many players playing good until it gets close to the bubble and then their game tightens up. To me this is an indication that it is more important for that player to win some cash than it is for them to win the tourney. Of course it is harder if you are short stacked when your only choice is push or fold. There is no simple answer to the question when should I push and with what. You have to make this decision yourself based on your read of the other players at the table.

It depends on sooo much, there's no one discrete answer

How many BBs you have
Chip Stack in relation to everyone else
ITM yet? / how many out till next $ spot
Your view of the table
How you thing the table views you?
If you think you could get a loose caller to double up on
If you think you will get a tight folder to steal the blinds/pot

And then, of course, what cards you are holding

Google "Poker push/fold charts". There's some excellent info out there.

Also, you need to take the risk while you still have enough chips to hurt your opponents.

A general rule of thumb is to either push or fold if you've got 10 big blinds or less. As for hand strength, a lot depends on your position and your take on your opponents. Pushing will give you the greatest fold equity so it's a very powerful tool on the bubble. Calling an all-in is a different story though, I would have to have a very strong hand to call if I'm risking all my chips. Usually in those Super-turbo games on Merge, I'll just play a push or fold for the entire game, it's usually pretty effective.

There are alot of card to push with, Any big pair, and most face cards atleast to see the flop. The flop will decide whether or not to continue. Also, the first bet should have an impact on whether or not you continue.

Ask yourself first if I push and they call or raise am I willing to go all the way with this hand?
