Someone put $70 on Ernie Els to win the British Open at 469-to-1 odds when Adam Scott had a four-shot lead with four holes to play on a betting website that allows bet to be placed during events instead of prior to the start of events. When Scott came unglued over the final four holes, the bettor, who placed the wager through a site that allows you to bet during the round, cashed in on his $70 crazy bet and won $32,830 for the bet at nearly the end of the tournament. Wonder if the betting site will rethink thier betting policy of allowing bets to be place during an evnet as it's actually happening.

But evidently he has a vision, although in this case could be put, and more. but it would look suspicious. though it is golf and there is little chance of a cheat. personally, my most recent rates are lost at the last moment. One of the most agonizing tournaments for adam scott.....he will learn from this but, ya have to feel for him....kid was playing one heck of a tournament before the final 9.....talk about a shake up....Nobby your right ....Greg Norman all over again....Big win for Ernie thats for sure. Older,wiser, been there before approach came thru for sure this time.
