With only 234 players left in this years 2012 WSOP Main Event from a field almost 6600 players, Vanessa Selbst is one of two female players who are inside the top 15 players with chips. As strong as she is playing this years WSOP series, she has a real chance to make the final table of the main event and perhaps become the first female player ever to win the WSOP Main Event. With 97 players left in the main event, Vanessa Selbst has fallen to the lower portion of the the chip stacks icurrently in 69th place however Gaelle Baumannin who on day three lead the wsop main event in chips has climbed back into the top ten chip stacks of the remaining players. There are still ten women left in the field of the main event, could this be the year a women wins it all?

Itd be really nice to have a spare $10,000 as well! I wish my skill was worth a buy-in like that. What is the pay out for the main event winner this year?
