HMM I see we upped the qualifiers either $180 for 10% to enter HPT or $360 qualifiers for 20% last month it was just 2 gtd tixs. YEs we are just one event th 13th 14th and 15th will be FT filmed for TV

...The wife and I will be headed out tonight to play a midnight NL Holdem tournament at the Belterra Casino & Resort in Southeast Indiana as a warm up to the Heartland Poker Tour stop there in a few weeks. Starting next week the poker room will be giving away one entry to each winner of the of their specified daily buy in tournaments to the Heartland Poker Tour’s main event. There will be 25 free entries given to the daily tournament winners as well as 25 free entries to the top 25 cash players with the highest total points for a specified period yet to be announced...

Definitely wishing you luck in the events. I am in the same area getting ready for the series at Hollywood Casino in November. I will definitely have to make it to the Belterra for a few events too. Keep us posted how you do, it really would be cool to meet people from the forum there. Maybe we all can get together for a cash game.

...Yeah saw the Hollywood tournaments scheduled for the same week, noticed the four $200K GTD they are going to run back to back on Friday and Saturday. Also paying 15 seats to the Hollywood Open Tournament in Vegas for the main event mid 2013 in a event qualifier. Gonna be hard to decide where to play that weekend.

...Total bummer, it looks like the casino pulled it's 5K Invitational Freeroll that was gonna give the top two seats in the event an entry into the HPT Championship Open. I called the casino several weeks ago and asked them about it and the said they were offer 25 seats to the casino's daily buy in tournaments an invite to the 5K freeroll and 25 seats to it's top cash play point players in that two week period an invite as well making for only a 50 player event and top two get an entry in the final event.

The daily tournaments that the 5K invites were to start today and run until November 7th, as of late Saturday night I had called the casino's poker room and asked if they had indeed confirmed the 5K Freeroll invites and the poker room manager had confirmed it. Was planning to play at least 5 of the daily tournaments to try and win an invite to the 5k tournament, that really blows that it looks like they pulled it at such a late date after a phone cal coversation on Saturday said it was indeed confirmed...

...Here is the response from today's phone call with the person in charge of the poker room on Monday...

ME: Hello, I was wondering what happened to the 5K Invitational Freeroll you had posted on the lsit of events for the upcoming HPT Tour? We called back late Saturday night as instructed to see if it was indeed verified that the daily winner of specified poker room tournaments would each get an invite to this tournament, and when I looked today, it was missing from the calendar.

Casino: Sir I have no information on that, all I know is what they have posted on the website for the lsit of events, is there anything else I can help you with?
