Wsop Final hand

Did anyone see the final hand in the wsop main event. After playing for what was an eternity, they finally get heads up, 13 hands later , they are all in with k-8, against queen jack suit. q-j, had to call 55 million of 63 million or so. Unless he has some great read, i dont know how he makes that call. He even makes a comment about, if you have qj, which is what he has, I am no pro , but damn, granted youve already guranteed yourself 5+ million, maybe he was tired. Would appreciate all your comments.

I think that he was tired and just gave up. Merson was representing a big hand so their is no way that guy should call with qj.

From my experience, QJ is the most effective hand for donking your opponent out of a big stack!

Most likely he was very tired, hell I was and I was just watching. But in actuality, while he called from behind, he was not far behind. I think he figured it was a flip, and it was time to flip.

btw, it was a 55/45 situation. Antonio said if the cards were face up, he would have made the call with QJ

and I'll give you this, if he had won the hand with QJ, and won the tourney, he would hear "DONK!" every time he walked into a card room for the rest of his life!

I think i have come to the conclusion, that he was probably very tired, when i turned it on about 20 minutes before it was over, i took one look at him and had thought that "damn he look very tired" then 20 minutes later bam. But 45/55 underdog, is not a lifetime donk tag, if you ask me.
