Omaha is played with 4 cards.but in that case we talk about omaha hi/lo.george wins Hi with 2 pairs aces and eights and split with jerry the low with A2378 so george gets 3/4 of total pot and jerry 1/4.

Haha, I guess you know that you can have only 4 cards in your hand for omaha now I couldn't tell if the answer was posted but it looked like George would win the high with two pair, aces and 8s and they would split the low. I don't think suits effect the low pot but I'm not sure.

George obviously wins you can only use 2 of the 4 cards in your hand which makes them both not have a straight if thats what you were thinking. You need 3 community cards on the board at least to make a straight or else its not a legitamite straight.

I didnt see that they had the same low in this case he would acually get quartered because he is splitting the low and has also lost by not having the best high hand which generally happens when there is a large amount of people in the pot someone will usually get quarted with in the low. Sometimes its better to just play your highhand with a lot of people going for the low.
