I would just like to view everyone's opinion on this particular game. As for myself I believe it's almost impossible to win with the nuts on the flop if you go all in and get called.

I am having difficulty ascertaining exactly what it is you are asking here could you please clarify your above statement? Maybe post some examples.

I think he is saying that in PLO if you flop the nuts, you almost always get beat.
I disagree with this statement, but in PLO people seem to not know what they are doing as much and will gamble more. The more people that play, the more they will suck out. Also since everyone has 4 cards rather than 2 there are bound to be more hands that end up beating you after the flop.

I have slowly learned that it is better to have a drawing hand on the flop than it is to have a made hand. Unless of course you flop da nuts. PLO is a very tricky game. Not one of my best games. I can always hear a Gremlin in my ear saying "Draw to the nuts, draw to the nuts"

I love it because its not just an all in or fold pre-floop as in most texas holdem game. Most all start out with pairs or trippin into flush and straight draws. There are just so many possibilities everyone is chasing something... My advice would be to develop a good betting strategy to push people of draws and help determine when they catch it. Going all in pre-flop may help weed out some hands that might have caught something to beat you, but a bigger stack will may call you with a worse starting hand... Just remember your position and stack size will determine whether somebody will flip a coin for the rest of your chips, and dont be upset if they do. They are probably just playing pot odds to the many chances of winning.

Haha yeah I have to agree with you as well.
I'm going to tell you an example what happend to me I play with A10 and bam!! I flop a straight and the other opponent had a trips.
Turn, nothing special but at the river he hit a full house.
So don't play on the flop. :D

PLO is different becuase you need to think what you want to combination, even thought you have like AAKK I really doubt you will even hit a trips with it since you dealing more cards and the odds of to get it it's really low.
Omaha and Holdem is whole different but if you play a long time you will understand how to play in Omaha the same as Holdem.

Omaha is a very tricky game!! So many combinations with 4 cards dealt instead of 2!! And i definitely agree, seems like the flop never holds up when u have the nuts!!! Always seems like a boat or flush will river u!

I believe it is way better to make a lead bet that is not going to let the river card decide if i win or loose there in PLO i like to put the player im playing to a decision there in that spot, but i ran into the same thing in MAXIMUS1 in plo11 1add 1rebuy got rivered and was very sick about his call so there i found out better to put the play to a decision rather than just all in % of the time we all make the wrong decision there .#plo can lead to a nasty river , so i try to play it out and get in my opponent to a tuff decision.

I don't play much plo players tend to stay in with the hope of hitting there hand and most often they do plo is full of variance's i guess its not uncommon to see three to four players go to the river thinking they have the best hand and sometime even more

I should say in omaha after the 5 card n board is hard to say who is winning so having nuts on the flop is count nothing, since there are to many drawing hand that need 5 card on board,so i must say flopping nuts is good but not always enough

I would agree but I do suck at PLO. Cant say I never cashed in PLO freerolls though. I though Holdem had swings, haha PLO is got the real swings. Crazy game.

PLO is all about math, even more so if you are playing Hi-Low. Biggest mistake I see people make is drawing to the non-nuts. While most people think you should play looser because you have 4 cards, you actually should be playing a lot tighter than you would in NLHE, especially post-flop.

Omaha was a tough game to play in the beginning for me...hell, still is. Being that Arwen is my wife, I hear repeatedly that Omaha is a drawing game and that I should "only draw to the nuts". I have to say though that the advice has helped. I really enjoy the game now.

I can appreciate a good game of Omaha. I'm not so sure flopping the nuts is such a bad thing :) But yes, if you get called you can bet someone has a great drawing hand and you have a good chance on getting beat. But, almost impossible? That doesn't sound accurate to me. Looks like you may have been a victim of some bad beats lately.

Sucks when you flop the nuts sometimes cuz in omaha theyll probly fold if you fast play them with a pot sized bet but if you slow play to get more value ur giving them two more cards to get the real nuts. I've flopped full house and slow played it then on the river an ace hit and I lost to a miracle 2 outer cuz I slow played it. Basically flopping the nuts fast playing might be better than slow playing in Omaha.

And I love this game, all in after the flop, not before. If you have AA or KK, and all in before the flop, 60% lost. If I'm the one who decides, expect to see the 5 cards. It's a little harder to calculate your chance, two players can be flush or straight flush vs flush. For me, the best hand is the straight flush A and

Never impossible but I think you are right on the fact that 2 other cards come and there is no way you will have best hand. Unless you flop quads or full boats.

Holdem is different to omaha or any other games !!! when u flop nuts on holdem u got a bigger chance to win the pot then other games where luck is much involved !

What ever game you play you need a bit of luck, also in plo depends what nuts you flop.stone cold as in straight flush,or the straight with 2 suited and you know if 2 or more call either a flush or boat is coming ,thats poker lol! also if you do hit the nuts it nice to have redraws ie flush draw or trips with a boat draw, thats whats so facsinating about this game many more drawing oppertunities than holdem.
