I sent a e-mail question to Carbon asking them where a player could locate his VIP points at. A simple question that could have been answered easily.... but no, that codswallop skin sends me this idiotic response:

This message serves as confirmation that you are now successfully registered in our support center.Registered Email: xxxxxxxxxxx@xxx.netPassword: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxYou can visit the Support Desk at any time by going to https://livepokersupport.com/Please do let us know if you have any questions.Regards,Live Poker Support

SERIOUSLY? I want an answer.... not a bunch of hoops to jump through.

Hello,

You asking for help from a poker room support system? You got a better shot of winning the lottery before they answer your email.

If you load the carbon poker room and look in the upper left hand section of the application you will see the navigation bar, scroll your mouse over the "Promotions" link and click ( 4th from the left ) and then scroll down to the "Vip Promotions" link in the scrill down menu " 2nd from the bottom) and click that link. A small window will open up and there you should find how many current vip points you have available as well as how many earned and some other vip inforamtion, hope that helps...

Thanks Pokeryall..... Duh.... I kept clicking on the VIP button and kept getting info pages which of course contain no handy info as to locate your points.

Did you know you can lose points playing in games?

I've lost a total of 30 points in three bumblebee sng's.... that's nice.

and Migo, an answer here is great, but you are right. Poker.org is not paid to answer simple questions that the/any site should be able to provide in the FAQ's or by help.

thanks again.

My bad..... I looked closer and found that I didn't lose VIP points. I used points to register in those games.

apologies.

Do not see what had to tell people at Carbon, if they go into your account at the site of all your financial situation, money, real money, vip points, coupons for tournaments, promotions, plus when you register at a tournament where two versions of the $ or VIP points, you write how many VIP points, browsing a bit on your personal pegina from them and you know all the answers

I've often wondered if the are human.
Eventually it seem that they must be (at least partially). I've repeatedly had to ask the same question 3-4 times before they send back an answer that convinces me they even bothered to read what I had sent.

The first couple of replies always make me think that they're running some filter that identifies key words in my text and spits back some canned response.

In your Merge lobby look for PROMOTIONS VIP FRIENDS SUPPORT BLACKJACK

If you click the VIP tab, it will take you to a screen. From there you put in your email address and password and it takes you to the old PLAYER ADMIN screen where you find anything and everything about your account.

The reply you got from Carbon is typical of most customer service replies from poker sites. It simply means that you were put in a queue and they will reply when they get to you in turn. They assign you a number so that you can refer to it in any future messages about the same matter. Usually after they confirm you they do get back to you.

Lol ezyflyfisher. I am glad u reposted with corrections. My first thought when I read your post was I am never going to play those bumblebees again. Last time I played that, I KO everyone at the table but one guy. I came in second. wow not sure what happened there.
I think you can find your VIP points by registering for a game, or pretend to register. Then you can see how many, although it has to be a tournament that allows signup or reg with points.

Dude thats the first step of contacting support, you send them an emial, they will confirm that email. Then after that, they will try to answer your question within the next 24 hours. Carbon has a few small problems, but it is by far the best software for US players.

I've never had any reason to contact them....Oh I've wanted to .....yup but, now I'm surious to see how long it takes them to come back with a response to your question?

I don't think there's a real office with a bunch of people hanging around reading all the emails coming in and wanting to deal with problems. I believe thier on some off some obscurded island with a bunch of palm trees and hi voltage waves breaking off the north jetti...and of course babes in bikini's playing online poker!

I recommend going to twoplustwo.com They have representatives from every online poker site that will answer your questions in a matter of seconds. When I got my carbon account verified it took my a couple weeks. But when I asked CarbonRyan on twoplustwo what the deal was, he sped up the process and I was verified in a matter of hours. They are very helpful on that site. You name the poker site, there is a section with site representatives there to solve problems.

Thank trubluffer for the information on how to speed up the process. I have also emailed carbon and never got a response back, which i guess I can understand because they one of the biggest online poker rooms for U.S. players.

And next week on poker support, we'll walk you thru how to register for tournaments. I wonder how mad they would get? Whos up for a little experiment?

But seriously though, that is ridiculous.

Yea. I am on my second week waiting for the ID verification process. I'd like to be able to do a P2P transfer, then an eventual withdraw on Carbon.

They handled an address update within 3 days.

@ trubbluffer : thank you mate , nice to know where to address to get proper support
On the topic, pretty unbelievable how such a big poker room could have such a lame support service, I guess they're a lil' bit over their heads into it, but that' s no excuse. And their support forum is useless too, it's been hijacked by some dudes who feel better with them alone, anything else it's not their business; ask for more and you'll get banned there.
For that above reason I didn't get too active on Carbon and looked for some other poker rooms/networks.

I really dont understand why they dont bring back the live chat
it was so good and everything you wanted you got in a couple of minutes
since it been gone they are really bad at the support and that sucks because its bad for their name.
