Just purchased a 1 month subscription to club WPT.$25.00 for 30 days, thought It might give me an opportunity to win into a big tourney. After a few days of playing there I can't say if it's been worth the $25 yet. But I will say this. For a big name like the WPT everything about the site is sub-par.The graphics remind me of old WWE wrestling games back on the SNES. There is also no option to bet half pot, pot etc, you know. like every other poker site has. They only got a slider, and the slow chunky pace of the game makes it hard to tell what you're really betting, due to slowdown, the amnt will tell you one thing then be another. Note: this may be due to my internet connection. I'm not living in the space age with the rest of you.Soft competition means that the big event satellites should be pretty easy to win. Usually the top ten places get the same ticket too.So far there are some potential ups, as well as a few downs that will be hard for me to overlook. If I win into a big one I'll update everyone. Anyone else on poker.org tried a VIP script at WPT? Feel free to share your experience.
Cool best of luck yea keep us posted I'm yet to check it out. How did you sign up? I got some Visa prepaids for $25 so I might check it out. What does the $25 get ya? Again good luck in the new journey!
I got a free one month subscription somewhere but don't remember the site. I played about 2 days and threw it way back in the closet. It wasn't what i expected either. It might have even been on WPT, in a tournament for one month subscriptions. Check around the site, been so long ago things might have changed. To me it was like heading out to Disney World, only to find Wally World lol.
My old boos used to have an account there.... I believe a bunch of states are restricted now though. I know, I have seen those guys playing on the WPT as qualifiers too. Looks cool, but if it was so great I would imagine more players would join.

same here i one mo free and only played a few days lol to me it wasnt poker and you get the same play on fb lol to funny Disney World your on a roll today men
Iv herd good and bad about the site i would think it might be ok if your a player that can play ten to fifteen hours a day its not something id want to do but i wish you good luck there keep us posted on how you do.
I think Zynga poker offered about the same deal in prizes but was free. I got my chip count to 3 million in Zynga poker, but the chances of winning those nice prizes are so miniscule, I think it won't take many months before you camcel your subscription.
I didn't sign up for WPT, but I just signed up for Pure Play, which is the same thing. I don't know about WPT, but PP offered a free membership with very limited access, but let me get a feel for the site. I won a $10 tourney, I'll hopefully be getting the check any day, but I had snail mail them paperwork to claim the prize. My carbon withdrawal was faster.
Anyways, they offered a month subscription for a dollar, so I went ahead and signed up for the VIP membership, If I don't make anything in the next month I'll drop it. The software is crap compared to real poker sites, but so is the play.
My real motivation to sign up is because I play a lot at work, but I also get interrupted a lot so I stick with freerolls. This lets me always have a game going without any risk for the individual tourneys.
It is restricted because my state will not allow me to play for the seats they have satellites for. I am interested in getting feedback from you but I know a guy from the Hollywood Casino I am a regular at who won a WPT Main Event seat through the site and made the final table!
I signed up and cancelled after a couple of days! It's like playing all freerolls - I don't like the site, nor the software... very 'mickey mouse' if you ask me. Would think it would be a little more 'high end' given the status and rep of the WPT.
Can't see this being a good thing imo.
If I were stuck playing olp in the states I would just deposit it on Bovada, or BCP (somewhere you can at least play poker... even if it has to be of the crappy 'anonymous' variety... & get paid).
Yeah, so......after about a week being a member my official statement is thison't waste your money or your time here. Club WPT is only interested in your money and not the least in providing a quality customer experience. The software is crap. The competition is too donk-heavy. The customer service is horrible. But they will call your phone and send you emails as soon as they want you to pay them. And the way they set up payment seems like a dirty trick.Avoid this site at all costs.
I know some people that have tried out WPT and other similar sites. A few have really enjoyed it and made money playing. For the most part, my experience is the players want to get out of there and play the mainstream real money sites
I'm canceling my Pure Play membership tomorrow. I haven't made a single cash in 30 days. I'd much rather spend my time grinding away on real poker sites with better software and making my slow but steady progress.
