Some of us who visit the Full Tilt Poker site can currently see that the "Down for maintenance" message has been removed and replaced. It's speculation at best but there's definitely something going on behind closed doors.

Furthermore, there's been reports of support staff beginning their new jobs at Full Tilt Poker on the last day of this month. More and more is indicating the imminent launch of Full Tilt Poker.

I took the screenshot below at you convenience.

Well I don't know if it good or bad.Since there are alot of us wondering where our money is from the last Fulltilt poker site.Do you think we will ever get paid,or what kind of deal they made with the feds?
If they make things right with all of the players, the Fulltilt brand will possibly do very well.,but if they don't make things right?.

If you seek the answer to your question, you will find it. We report on the development all the time. There's even a big button at the top right section of this page called "Black Friday Coverage".

To answer your question, though, they plan on giving ALL MONEY BACK.

Looks like good news. And for sure the only way they will have a chance back in the market is, if they pay all players. So I am very looking forward to their reopening soon.

I feel optimistic that we'll be playing on there sometime in May 2012 (I'm talking strictly about ROW players, not US obv.).
Looking forward to multi-tabling some 45man SNG's (hope they still fill up like they used to). A mini-ftops would be a nice way to get things started... would be able to use up one of my $75 tokens (lol)

I am really optimistic about returnig back full tilt poker and continued with work.
Most of the news I follow on Pokerstrategy, they generally throw all the new news fastest, and latest news was very optimistic for me, because I am one of the most players who have money on full tilt.
I would like full tilt back and continue with his work not only because I have money on that site, but what I think is that full tilt with poker stars is best site with most users and best software for play.
And company like full tilt makes its owners many large influx of money, this is one of the reasons why I belive that this site will not shut down

Hope it's for real this time, so many promises and things were dragging over several months already. But would be really nice if we could just log in with our old login and password and continue as if nothing had happened, after a "short" break

Wow that is fantastic news for some, I am jealous. That was my favorite site.I was wondering how there were players listed there, and beta testing makes sense.I don't think I have wanted to move to another country as badly as I do right now, lol

My check from a tourny win at FTP got to me the day after black Fri. I blame the DOJ because they froze the bank acct. All I want is my funds.

Think its hilarious everyone freaking out over this... They are clearly just testing software thats it. They STILL havent received a CAT 1 gaming license and frankly there not going too until players are paid and settled with the DOJ. Even if they get a CAT 1 license and everything is back to normal.. IT STILL ISNT COMING BACK TO THE USA. Yes they are hiring people ect ect ect ect... but does no good until a deal is reached. Personally I think this is just a play for FTP to show investors software is still functional and to sell the software.

I sure do hope that everything has been cleared up for full tilt. I had money there too ( I hope it's still there :) . Full tilt was and still is my favorite site to play poker at. Can't wait for them to come back with a clear record, I hope.

Is the tentative plan still to have the DOJ pay out US players? I may not make any attempt to get my money if it means dealing with the DOJ just for a few hundred bucks. I imagine this is true for many people -- more so for those that don't pay taxes and worry that info will be furnished to the IRS -- so they probably did it that way in order to lower the funds expected to be paid out to US players. What a bummer!

Nobody is freaking out. It gets a lot of press because it deserves a lot of press. So far, people have actually been unreasonably calm.

I don't know how Alderney, Kahnawake and Malta operate, but I would imagine that if a company is asking for non-disclosure, they will probably get it. After all, why would such approval processes need to be publicly audited? Point is, for all we know, they might already have a license but chose to hold back on the news until everything is official.

The whole point of making a deal with DoJ (also why PokerStars paid large sums to the US gov't) is because they will have a front seat ticket whenever the states legalize poker. Also, a lot of Americans have millions of dollars stuck on the site, so regardless of a pending or non-pending US legalization, this is important to and the whole industry.

If this was a plot to "check if the software works" in order to "sell it", then why the hell would they go to such great lengths and register new companies in multiple countries? And HIRE people? Including SUPPORT STAFF? And what do you even mean by saying that they want to show investors that functional? Of course it's functional. It's got years on its back and has been smoother than, well, everything but PokerStars. There's nothing to prove here.

I'm with you cookies, who would want to go back to Full Tilt after what they put you through the last year. Clearly they can't be trusted so if you give me a pick of either Full tilt or Merge....Im taking merge

Despite it having new owners? I just don't see why you would judge someone for another person's fuckups.

Really? Some Merge rooms are super shady. Lock Poker comes to mind. And I haven't seen any reason whatsoever to assume Merge is on the up and up as a network. My money could go up in smoke at any time -- just like FTP. How would you know?

All I can say is, judging FTP2 by the actions of the owners of FTP doesn't quite make sense. A sense of caution is good -- but to assume Merge is more trustworthy? That is just absurd.

I really don't care that FTP is under new management they have done damage that can't be undone and I think merge's software is better than fulltilts. Sure FTP had massive traffic but I enjoy tournaments which are actually over in 4-5 hours. Pass
