Gutshot Poker,Merge's online poker room,is down for maintenance.Well,that's what they say.Their maintenance started last month when every Merge online poker room was down because of needed updates.Every other Merge online poker room is now working normally,but Gutshot is still down for maintenance,which is weird.They say they are building their own multi-platform set-up and introducing a new sportsbook with a much bigger range of betting markets.They also say they will be up and running again in 10 days.They made that statement 14 days ago and they still haven't reopened the poker client which is counting down hours(currently 136)to,probably,next countdown.They already had a countdown from 200+ hours to 0 hours which resulted in another countdown,again from 200+ hours.There have been speculations on their forum that they went bankrupt,but Gutshot Poker support is saying there's no truth in that.
Another online poker room that had a similar problem was Purple Lounge Poker.They suddenly closed their poker client and every week sent e-mails to players about "the resolution to the current situation" which in the end resulted in Purple Lounge Poker getting bankrupt and players not getting their money.
