Yes they will most likely be back in the US some time.

Not as we know them. In fact, online poker is never going to be the way it was pre-black friday. The only way we could ever hope to see Pokerstars in the US again is if they were to become a US-based company. Now, if they do buy a casino in New Jersey, AND New Jersey licensed online poker, AND an interstate compact can bring a large % of states together as one player pool, this would be as close as it would ever come.

No international play is ever going to become legal in the US IMHO

Poker stars is already hot on the right track,as new jersey has got the bill in,but is yet to pass.i beleive it will, but there are so many things that have to be implemented, guide lines drawn up,political butt licking, political hand greasing and just plain ole politicking.and then there is states like mine, holding on to the rapidly dwindling revenues from thorobred race horses and snobbish azz millionare horse farms in the bluegrass.them snobs control much of kentuckys law makeing,so we players here arent holding ourbreaths. you guys think your sites are limited, get in our shoes.

Is this the one that ripped people off? If not, then why did they leave? If they did rip people off, why the hell would you want them back? For the easy overseas prey? no thanks, stay banned.

It was never illegal for us to play there, it was illegal to use US banks to make deposits and withdrawls under a money laundering law they snuck in after 9/11.The problems occurred when PS and FT basically bought a band to process the transactions for US players.I doubt highly we will ever see either site again.

"guide lines drawn up,political butt licking, political hand greasing and just plain ole politicking"

Call it a hunch but it sounds to me like Kentucky has some insider news for what happens on capitol hill M-F! So maybe Tue or Weds. after New Years then?
