...Luv to play Razz, it's my favorite poker game, I find it much easier to read opponents and also to judge the value and strength of the hands since some of the player cards are revealed for each hand played. Unfortunately Merge is the only gaming network I can play online poker these days because of access restrictions imposed by the state in which I reside.

So with no availability to any online Razz games, I have to settle for the closest thing to Razz that the merge network offers and that would be the lowball games 2-7 and A-5 games offered in the merge poker clients lobby. Those games offer very little opportunity to play since they are not favored among the poker members who are members there. Waiting to find a good game can take hours there...

I like the traditional lowball games,too.Theres just something about Razz...maybe its after getting A235 by 4th street & then catching enough bricks to build a chimney afterwards...i dunno

I'm also a big Razz fan . Since Razz is also included in H.O.R.S.E. and 8 Game , to be competitive in these games , you have to be able to play Razz & play it fairly well . But then again , I like the other traditional lowball games too , 2 - 7 Single draw , 2 - 7 Triple draw , and of course my favourite Badugi . I think learning and playing these games well , only makes you a better overall poker player . Good luck on the felts and with the lowball card games !

I wouldnt pick it as my favorite, I have played whole tourneys of razz and then is when you get all the high cards for sure lol, in horse its fine for a change once in awhile.

Razz cough cough YUCK IMO.......yet if need to say in a game of HORSE I tolerate it & survive generally, as long as I play the way my stud CZ taught me to play it, & until he taught me I constantly & totally BOMBED every time I had to play it! I hate it lol , it seems it's a ridiculous game for me , played it once and i won't and will never play it again :)

I enjoy Razz very much. Imho, all it takes is a little patience (but that's in every game, once again my opinion) and making sure you pay attention to cards that have been out/folded and knowing what cards may still come to improve your hand.

I like both razz and horse at least with horse if you get in a rut the game changes every ten minutes or so

I like razz but I can only take it in small doses like in HORSE or RASH. I have tried to play a whole tournament of it and it tends to tilt me.

I do not know play razz, I watched other players, I tried to play and still do not understand, I know the rules say so, who has the lowest card wins, A has a value of 1, but all lose when playing this type of poker probably need to gain more experience. Can anyone tell me which kind ptincipalele winning hands in poker?

I like it, can take or leave it, i do enjoy it sometimes to break up the monotony and also enjoy the horse mtt every now and again. my problem with horse, is my omaha game is horrid,seems like between omaha and 7stud i lose all my chips.

I love horse, and razz is a fun game for me. Always interesting decisions in the game. Omaha is the toughest of the group, but fun.

I haven't tried it as a cash game or SNG,,, I like that stage of the game in HORSE. Seems I do better in the low and Hi/LO stages of HORSE. So I have some cash at Bovada just laying there so I might take a shot and see how it goes,, Later peeps

Wazzz upppy,nice thread ,Razz. well first thing comes to mind,I SHOULD BE REALLY GOOD AT THIS GAME,I mean Low hand wins,pffff I always get my chips in with the worse hand,lol ha..Love it

Love razz...So many players don't understand the game to the point that when in a h.o.r.s.e. trny they sit out the razz portion or play it so poorly they be gone soon from trny. I for one look forward to the razz segment and generally build my stack. The one thing I don't care for is that it's difficult to steal a pot when playing against players who don't understand the game.

Razz is def a fav of mine,cashed a few times,still find it strange playing a 10 dollar razz seeing a player call all the way to 7th street with a boat.
and i agree with sheepdog,the amount of times in horse you get playerswho aint got a clue how play razz.or they just raise and pray they catch runners or they have total trash and are koed pretty quickly.

How different is Raz from other games ? Is the transition from regular std to Raz an easy one ?

What sux is i love mixed games...wish poker sites had more of them in mtts....sure cash tables but that sees like it only benefits them and not the player....i would love to get razz and other mixed games back onlie...god i miss ftp...they has the best online mixed games besides ps which i never cared for to begin with...not sure what it was about ps but i just never cared for it.....i lvoe razz and plo....my fav games....lets bring razzzz back to the poker world as we know it and not just on cash tables!

I say i like hose better than horse. im not big fan of razz but when i first started playing it was good game to start on. pretty simple rules easy to learn. i learn alot on ftp , esp about playing mixed or stud games.
