I had nasty viruses and I used 3 programs to clean the PC,but even after these really good programs successfully removed all the viruses, the PC would still run very slow. So,the best solution is always a format and a fresh install of Windows(95 haha).Oh and I really like Worms Armageddon.

If the virus includes a root kit nothing but combofix or tdsskiller.exe found at kaspersky's website will touch unless you boot to a none windows source and manually remove them

Googled it
Worm/Generic2.ceag typically occurs in explorer.exe. The above executable is a file of common knowledge. It plays critical role in navigation through computer system. If you go for broke and merely remove explorer.exe, the outcome might be disastrous as the deletion causes inability to see and open items on your PC.Naturally the removal of Worm/Generic2.ceag is to be performed in another, more precise and gentle manner, by fixing the infected file. Besides, the rogue is a worm, thus is able to propagate on its own by dropping its copies into removable parts of computer memory.

Hello! I had nasty viruses and I used 2 programs to clean the PC,but even after these really good programs successfully removed all the viruses, the PC would still run very slow. So,the best solution is always a format and a fresh install of Windows.Although we have in Russia is a very popular program for virus protection, "Kaspersky" is called. I like it a lot, protects against many problems. although it is paid, but no problems with viruses long - long time ago there were not any. so I recommend. good luck in solving this problem
