Would you rather they be removed entirely is the question. If a blog or thread is locked it can be for various reasons. I suggest scrolling to the bottom before replying. You would have to do that anyway to read all the previous posts no?
If you feel that the topic is worthy and should be repeated than by all means re-create the thread or blog.

Not quite the point wingman simply why have any posts there in LATEST? if one cannot make a reply is my question and yes if they blocked makes no sense in keeping them just delete them.

Should remove all blocked post as soon as possible was blocked for a reason so remove it so no more can view it.

Perhaps increasing the number of days for a topic to be blocked, instead of 5 days, 10 would increase to an option

I get what you are saying and yes annoying..Probably cause I myself will click to read lastest, only to find out it same one I went too and still nothing new . LOL Like the thread "Avatars" This was 2 yrs ago ! I gotta laugh at myself cause I posted here and then went to Avatars thread and had to come back to edit.

They end up on the latest list because there was an action taken on the thread. That is how the software works. No one manually moves them to that list. If a post was added to or edited or replied to the software lists it as latest. Perhaps that can be changed or not. Either way I do not at all see it as a big deal.

Again i will ask why lock anyn thread,,,yes any nthread less its causing drama or is in totally the wrong section of the site.
i will also ask why a thread of mind mentioning the exact latest date fulltilt will be back in operation,with the comment this subject is already out there so go read it,

As previously mentioned by wingman13, this is a script that chooses the latest actions of any given section on the page. On top of that, it will list a maximum of two of the same category in a row (example: two forum threads in a row, even if the last five actions on the page was five different forum threads). This is done to increase the activity on the page.

The criticism for locked threads makes sense. It will be done soon.

if a post is blocked its for a reason which is by the team leaders of this forum , it happens and has happen on me , but what i say is life goes on, forget it and go on there are plenty of post to read and reply to so if i was you send a messege to guru and he will tell it like it is to you , these things will cause drama and thats not aloud on this forum which i`m happy , i hate drama and so does this forum, and i`m not trying to start any problums zulu just want to say that gl to u on this issue

Excuse me benspocket it was never my intention to cause any 'drama' and its a valid question, a forum by definition is a place to read articles and form a discussion over said articles. Now if by chance there is an article which I feel merited to answer then I would first read the comments left by other members to see how the discussion is going b4 making any comment I may have. Its just annoying to read maybe two pages only to find its been locked. Nuff said now.

And ioi it was not directed as any form of criticism merely to ask (in a round about way) if it could be changed in any way so that topics which are older could still have a discussion or comment on. I am sure there may be a solution to satisfy all somewhere:)
