For all of you dart players out there, the 2012 UK Open kicks off tomorrow. I've been playing darts for over 25 years, and with out a doubt the UK Open is my favorite tournament to watch. It's one of the few tournaments that have more qualifiers than pros, with the top players being seeded. It's a short format, which allows for players on heaters to advance. Such as American Gary Mawson taking 2nd in 2008. UK residents get to watch these matches, but it is more difficult for us in USA, The matches can be seen if you would like to watch on justin tv, merely look up Fotoman9 at 2pm EST on thursday. Who's gonna win Phil Taylor? Adrien Lewis? James Wade? Well I'm gonna go dark horse here and pick a player making his PDC debut in Ted "the count" Hankey. Another dark horse to watch out for I think is Dean Winstanley. Who you all think is gonna take it down?
