Was playing a tourny that started a 7 and was doing real well. Caught QQ and raised to 700 preflop. Flop came 8 9 10. What am I supposed to do but make a big bet. Got reraised though to allin. Man I hate QQ some times, but it could be KK or AA with him having 9 10 right. Well there's always another day.

Good hand, Dangerous flop. Only way for you to win is a straight..not unless if the opponent has K,Q..

Info. missing!
Maybe 'JJ'? Pretty sure if he holds JJ he's never letting it go obviously (really doubtful they've got AA/KK & only 'called' preflop... depending upon chipstacks < if they're short'ish' then maybe just calls pre w AA/KK, rrai on any flop)

I do not know how much money was in the game for me fold risk not straight, as you said may have pair of AA, or between a J and Q to make straight, good luck

Yes,very dangerous flop.it was easy to predict a straight, but finally two pairs that surpassed your queens.I don't like QQ sometimes.

The tournys I play in are privite and small number of players. I was just saying it didn't matter if I had KK or AA with him holding 2 pair. I was to lose anyway. But one thing is that he was hitting nearly every hand he called with, so I can understand why he called the 700. He sure had the chips to play loose.

Why u make a big bet with that hand after flop? u had to try seeing river cards for free imho..also ur position seems weak too.

Two pair hands made with mid range connectors on the flop, don't hold up well when taken to showdown, often losing to a straight or to an overpair like yours when the board pairs to counterfeit, so assuming you would lose seems to be a weak, passive way to play this hand post flop.

That's a tough one to take. Obviously you would love to play QQ vs T9 a million times, the queens will come out on top more often than not. just have to keep your head up and forget about it
