I've only had like 3 or 4 straight flush in the past 2yrs.!!! (I've had quads prob 70x).
I've never had quads beaten ever!

As far as it sounding like something that would happen to you.... you say it in a negative way where personally I would LOVE IT if someone didn't actually get all my chips in on river in a spot like this. I would consider this to be very fortunate indeed. Perhaps villain was clueless? (it wouldn't be all to surprising.. can't see why else they don't raise river here)

Had the same thing happen to me a few years back in a pokerstop freeroll on UB. 11 players left top 10 got paid I flopped quads 10's. Guy kept betting into me so it was an easy call. Sure enough king of hearts pops on river and he jams. He had me covered so there's no way I put him on holding the only 2 cards that would beat me. He turned them over and to say I was shocked is an understatement. Needless to say went from number 2 position to out in that hand. Friggin sucked.

Tough beat,anyone who spent time at the tables has felt/seen that,like a bee sting,ok one sec,then ouch.

Very tuff beat, I have had that same exact beat on a final table, it was plo8 and I had him coverd 3-1 but man it stung. Kinda funny bad beat story as well like 3-4 months a go I was playen live, yada yada long story short quad k's riverd by quad a's nlh $200+ pot. I tell this story in a micro horse mtt get to the final table and what do I go out to quad k's vs quad a's. Poker Gods must just think its some real funny $h!t huh. Hope things look up, they will gl!
