Okay guys, lets get a smoker goin.ive seen so many people complain about gettn they a-a beat by an idiot with nothing but 2-7o.they scream;ive been merged; or this is a b-s site,or hes a site bot.crap man,if you would pay a little closer attention, you just miiiggggghhhht see something that would explain why CERTAIN players go hogwild and push really questionable hands.but then you have donks that just get lucky.learn how to isolate the donk, learn what the certain player holds, and poker gets easier.

Just yesterday my bankroll took a huge beating due to a series 10 or so hands in a row with 70%+ win odds losing to hands that shouldn't have even been played. Does this mean the site is rigged? Nope, it's just a little thing called variance.

I'm happy with the situation because I induced my opponents to make mistakes, which is the ultimate goal of poker and in the long run it'll be statistically profitable.

Part of the problem is that people are ignorant of just how often weak hands can beat strong hands. 7-2 off suit will beat A-K suited almost one-third of the time for example.
Poker sites aren't rigged. It's not worth it. They don't care who wins, they get paid regardless.

You just really cant tell what a certain player has alot of times they will play a 3-7 off suit but then fo;d a 2-8 and to me thoseare same handslol. if you play it once keep playing it..then a guy will push 5 hands in a row i get pp qs so i call his 6th all in and he has pp aces lol.

So true, the sites are not rigged. It does seem like that at times, but its just the bad play of bad players!! and it does seem like they reward the bad play. but live poker u dont have 6 limpers!! When u have 6 people in the hand, the odds are some crap hand is gonna win!!! And of course u have the limit games, where u get the chasers!

At the end the gamblers will lose but its really frustating to get beaten by them.
One rules stands: always stay friendly and take your loss.
I think its really more frustating to see what people write when they lose - shame on them!

I play in merge network more than 4 years you can imagine what an situations i have bean saw. I have bean beat so many times but i had and some lucky situations. But for sure Merge is not going very good after the new update the trafik is getting low for sure and i think to start play at other poker size cuz i am getting sick prom merge to this moment. I play at this poker site only because the series are played at this poker site.

I cant complain...I suck anyways. No matter the site its the same old crap. Complaining though is a sure sign of a person who will never never go pro or have success in poker. Try losing some real cash and cry there. Watch you get escorted out the building, or in a fight. Forget about it, dont deposit, quit crying cry babys. Ooops thats me.

Just watch that donk that beat your aa go out about 5 places above you they dont last long. and if youre ever lucky enough to get that kind of player heads up you can basically mop the floor with them

LMAO@Gjwalk: Sooo funny. The amount of "bad beats" I've witnessed on you- you must have a water-proof laptop and just stay in that shower playing then. :P

Bad beats happen EVERYWHERE not just on merge. They happen a lot in Live games too. Just becomes part of poker.

Increased parity due to use of community cards is what makes hold'em the most popular type of poker, and its the reason most players enjoy the game as much as they, or I should say, we do.

It really does seem like they reward the bad play!! but like mentioned above, all u can do is play right and make smart moves!! The idiots will eventually lose!! They might get lucky one out of 20 tourneys!!! But us good players will cash more times then the idiots!! Just keep doing the right thing!

The new ad bendover, lets merge gaming. lmao bad beats happen , i play to tiight alot so when my stack gets low im going to get mire bad beats from loose callers because my stack has lil fold equity. i hope i said that right. plus in the smaller buy in tournys there turbos which means you have to play more non premium hands.

MOst people would love to say the thing is rigged but just go play some live poker and the same stuff happens. Some SS decides he gonna jam his 72o into your AA and beat you. Ive seen so many AA vs KK live and 4 suite flush suckouts thati get more nervous watching how a dealer holds the cards, esp if people at my table know the dealer, then anything a RNG throws at me. BTW Im on a 7 hand AK freezeout right now and counting meaning the last 7x Ive AK online ive either busted out or been crippled. Shit happens. as people point out your 70/30s are gonna lose 30% of the time

Merged yesterday in a tourney with my AA vs AJ. Flop comes 4-K-6. Turn 10, River Q. So they runner runner and got an inside straight to take me out. Fortunately, I did not go in until I was in the money and had $16 guaranteed. I sure would have liked to continue to the $3000+ top prize.

this ^ 100% this ^

Need to keep in mind that those same players saying "I got merged".. or this site such & such.. etc. etc. are the same ones saying 'Jokerstars'.. or 'FullRiggedPoker', etc. etc. It's all total nonsense & is all real common stuff to see from inexperienced players. You've got to expect it when there's a bunch of newer players posting in a forum.
Better to just have patience & ignore. Let them believe in the nonsense. Why even bother to try to convince them otherwise?

I know it's not true and it's just poker but sometimes I wonder about merge. Had aces today against king 10 and he hits running 10s then I run into someone's aces today with king queen and I flop two pair. It just seems like the hand that's behind pre flop ends up winning a lot of the time on merge like if it says 80% chance to win you expect to win 4/5 times but it seems like a coin flip every time. I know this is not the case but just sayin.

Every poker player has its own strategy, I can not ask you how to play, as you say there are many lucky donkeys. If the pushes on 27, 43 is the donkey, and win vs AA
