I play really a lot of MTTs on Pokerstars and i still wonder how many people tilt when they are short but already ITM...
I see allins with A5 or even K high and get often Beat by those Idiots.
Example: You hold KK in late Position, you call a normal 3 bet and the Flop comes Q high.
You plan to checkraise him and nice he goes allin. You call and see A5 off.He had 3 outs and sure the A gomes on Rivercard and cost me a lot Chips. Why coing allin with nothing and risk to get busted???
I really dont understand why Pokersites honors that badplay

Depends how big they are stacked in the tournament. If you have dwindled down to <10big blinds then shoving may make sense. Also in my opinion most people are doing this in an attempt to steal blinds since a lot of players tighten up so that they can work their way up the money. Just tough luck, and it isn't really pokersites honoring bad play more so than the statistics. Just because you are a heavy favorite does not mean you will win, one outers can be hit.

I dont understand the statement.i would go allin on that 3 bet , and a5 folds if its more than half his stack. i never tilt itm,i might be sad, i tilt on the bubble and go out on aa,i fold kk and everything on the bubble unless its cheap and i hit a set of big pair

U need to understand that poker sites lke pokerstars favors poor players like that one that went all inn with A5.I"ve lost several hands like this with KK QQ agains A2-A7 with nothig for them on the flop. The thing is when they see that they are in the money they think : so no i have nothing to lose so they play like very loose.U can;t do more than make the right decisions like u did with kk but more and more now on pokerstars u will lose like 4 in 10 hands like this, and this is not fair at all.

Sorry, I don't see that scenario as tilting. He is already ITM. He is short stacked. He won't get any higher by just folding. A 5 is a good hand to try to double up with, and if he doesn't, he is no worse off to go out maybe a few hands sooner than being blinded out. usually the prize pool only goes up a few dollars at a time until the very end. That is a good play.

And h1span1k, "sites favor poor players", what a bunch of crap. If I thought the site was manipulating the cards like that, I'd not play there.

Ok i understand the Push allin Preflop with A5 when your already ITM and shortstacked.
But when you hit nothng on the Flop and you get allin is just stupid with a Stack left where you can keep on playing with.
I sit at Finaltable from MTT we where 6 Player left. Blinds 200/400. I hold 99 in BB and middle Position with Stack 7K (me 6K) raise normal 3xBB. I call him and Flop comes 258 Rainbow.
He bets half potsize and i push allin. He had now about 5K left and call me with AQ.
He risk he real good Position to hit the A on Rivercard and kick me out.
Thats what iam talking about. He was only gambling with nothing and got Lucky.
That sucks

Discussion is long and I do not think there is a recipe. I prefer to start quite prudent to increase my stack, try to control the table.in the second phase ,try to become more aggressive .

Luck is REALLY important in MTTs. I busted 3x with AK vs AQ today, and once with KK vs AJ. No matter how well you play, the odds are against you the minute you begin a tournament. Chances are you aren't going to win it. This is why volume is important.
