I see too many complaints about Bad-Beats!

I see a lot of posts about Bad beats, so I thought I'ld share my views:

I think bad beats are a GOOD THING!

If you are ahead when you push or call, and get unlucky on the turn or river, then this is just unlucky, but you played is right!

The problem is online you see many many more hands than a live game of poker!
(So you are likely to see more bad beats, per hour)

It can get very frustrating tho when you are beaten by lucky players in a row!

My advice is if you are ahead when the cards go over, you play well.
If you get beaten by luck on the turn or river, then unlucky, but don't get tilted or upset!

If when the cards go over you are behind, then hope to be that lucky player!
(Just try not to luckout on me!)

Generally I'm ahead and get beaten by luck!

Yup. if you get your chips in when you are favored it is a great play. Poker doesn't care about you. don't let it make you tilt. take a break or just realize it is one hand and move on

Yep u shud just accept loss as u accept victory no need to over-react a cool mind is what u need to hav even if u get the worse bad beats! like for instance last nite i played for like almost 4 hrs till like 5 am but came only 21st wud hav been in the top ten if i sat out i was coming 5th. I called on a K 6 coz i got a K pair but he had two pairs K and somethin else which was disappointing. In one hand i went from 5th to 21st 5 dollars to 35 cents but its all part of the game im not complaining.. Im happy i atleast made it itm no probs i will be more careful next time specially during the ending of a tournament.

I hate hearing about bad beats, no body ever remebers they're sicker bad beat you know, they complain about some dude 5 betting them all in preflop with 66 and them having AA only to have the dude flop the set of 6's, eventhough, if he never reraied and seen a cheap flop, AA would pay him off all day, but they seem to forget the fact that 25 hands ago They called an all in of KK with KQ suited only to hit some miracle god couldn't make happen.

Many complain because wish to win in concrete game. The distance will return if to play all correctly, but always to win it will not turn out. Therefore to complain there is no sense.Game there is a game and everyone plays on the

Well, one understands it feels somehow unjust when a series of bad beats comes and you simply lose in tons of better hands vs weaker hands in a row.
Usually in such moments human mind tries to search for a solution, some reason that caused this as it seems very hardly feasible.
We will probably never find this answer, although there are many ideas, poker sites can be rigged, it can have something to do with karma, luck status, or some special yet unknown human mind ability or whatever.
And in live poker we can claim dealers are cheating, there is some video on youtube where a dealer can simply take the card from the middle of the pack withot notice and table a desired card, no idea what trick was it or if there are really some more talented dealers that can do such things.
But I guess we'll never know and we'll have to live with them bad beats

I stopped complaining about bad beats when I realized that I seldom get my money in when behind. There is a percentage that each contest has, if it is 35% to your 65%, almost a third of the time, you will lose.

Now, how often do you get it in when behind 35% to 65%? If you are a good player, very seldom. Some of my friends commented to me, "you are always losing to a bad beat". That is because I am in with the best 80% of the time.

Bad beats are never a good thing. How often they happen online just because a billion hands are being played at once is also a bad thing. Idk if I believe in all this variance bs or it's more about figuring out the software and familiarizing yourself with common boards and cards. I wonder if anyone has experienced with doing that instead of trying to master this variance bullshit.

That's right. The cards could care less what you want. Don't tilt just because they don't like you for a little while. Take a break and come back.

Bad beats are a good thing. So is variance. This is what brings hordes of losing players to the tables and keeps them playing.

If it is truly a bad beat be happy people are willing to get it in behind and suckout in the longterm this will make you $$$. Too often we remember the losses and they stick with us so I challenge you all to find a hand where you came out on top and focus your thoughts there instead of dwelling on the negative.

Wrong!
I don't count the number of hands. I count the situations in which it occurs. And yeah online (depending on the site) it happens a lot more.
How can you explain that different networks/sites give less/more badbeats and different kind of them? It doesn't make sense if they are all random.
Go open random tables on Stars ( so you are not involved in the action and affected by it ) . In 5 minutes you won't have fingers to count the weird badbeats you saw.
No, internet poker is rigged and is no doubt about it. It's a business and business are made to make money, not to be fair. It would be weird if the internet poker would be fair, as long as nothing is fair for the small people in the world.
I know it's better to not think like that and blame it on the variance, but i have this problem: i can't lie to my brain.
