You have just been lucky. I have been playing online for alomost 2 years and only just recently i had 2 straight flushes. It is just luck. Though I would sleep with the dealer if i can. :)

In Omaha I have got beaten by a Royal Flush, have seen quads more in Omaha than Holdem, to be honest in Online Poker, dunno how it is over Live Poker thought but guess it's the same.
Rather Omaha and Holdem, there some different odds, you deal more cards in Omaha so there will less in the deck so the odds getting low cards is pretty much the same rather Holdem that always is the same and easy to read.

I think you see more big hands in online poker because you see more hands. You are going to have days where you streak and you see multiple big hands and there will also be the days you feel like you can't catch cards. I definitely have more of the latter. Omaha the odds of that happening are a lot higher, but yeah it is pretty crazy that happened to you. As we learned its not impossible
