So after getting badbeated by k10 with aq I lost my big stack.
I get reshoved by the same person and I pick up pocket 10s I call, same person flips aces.
I get table switched I wait till im in the small blind I pick up
(2c,6c) with roughly 4k chips 250/500 Blinds
Big Blind has about 13k
Everyone folds I call trying to hit a hand
Flops is
(qc, 2h,8c)
I make it 500 he calls
Turn is
6h
Theres about 2500 in the pot so I wait a little than value shove my two pair flush draw
He insta calls with a jack and eight and the river pairs the board queen and he gets a better two pair.
Some people just have such nerve to play poker for luck.

There must be a million ways to lose in a card game. Today, with over 100 players, there were tons of ways to lose, sorta reminds me of that show 1001 ways to die.

Reminds me of the old TV show Naked City. They say "There are 8 million (population of New York at the time) stories in the naked city and this is one of them."

Hmmm. I am wondering why you were playing 26 anyways? Would you play this if it was 2-6 offsuit? 2-6 is not a very good hand and I wouldn't recommend playing any hand suited that you don't play offsuit. AQ vs K10 is a 60/40. He has two live cards and is going to hit quite often. Kind of unlucky running 1010 into AA, but maybe you could fold that preflop? I think you were thinking he was a donkey because of his K10, but its pretty standard to get any two big cards in pre deep in tournies. Better luck next time!

You called with 26 , great hand and you still asking why you loosed that ?! When you call that 26 you sayd you tried to catch something. That flop hitted you in a lucky strike but you know you played badly prelfop that hand so it is not a badbeat ,it is only a sick call preflop and a lucky flop and after was made ''justice'' for that player .

You shouldn't have played with 2-6, even suited. You also over-valued your two pair. You must always keep in mind when playing low pairs that they can be counterfeited easily if the board pairs, which has a reasonable chance even with only one card coming.

Well our buddy played those 26 for he was SB, paying less to see the flop, but here we have to pay attention to the stack size, 'cause it's paying 25% of the stack just to see the flop... some luxury, but I don't to add more criticism here. From now, just by not laying down the hand, there's not much our player could do, maybe not betting the flop, but after the turn is dealt, the outcome is the same. How many of us would slow play 2 pair when short stacked?
Then, the opponent played it this way: no contested flop, free to see, one pair, the flop bet looked too weak, for him it seemed that our player didn't hit the flop, not even a steal attempt, he thought he was safe with his pair. He played it further comparing the stack sizes to the river, for the result we know.
IMO this hand could (maybe) be won with a shove: you choose the moment, before or after the flop, not a second later.

Yup that is a hard and harsh way to go out, and sadly it is just a regular thing. My advice would be to play less hands.

It is a rough way to go out but there are plenty of games left to play so get some revenge on them.

I wouldnt call the bad beats, I think you had bad luck, but werent bad beaten in any of the three hands.

First hand AQ vs KT you had 60%/40% advantage pre-flop, but what was the flop? maybe he hit a pair on flop and you didnt... that wouldnt be a bad beat. I would call it a bad beat if you had pocket As and you were beaten on the river by a flush or str8. But this hand doesnt look like a bad beat. The problem is you feel bad for losing it and misqualified that player as donkey, by mistake.

On the second hand it was bad luck that he had pocket As vs your TTs... but nothing to argue there.

And on your third hand, as some has said, you played a weak hand as a weak hand, and expected to get good profit from it. You hit 2 pairs and flush draw, but low pairs and he hit 2nd high pair with A, and might had flush draw too.
Your bet on flop was weak, easy call for him, and on river he had 2 high pairs with A... no flush posibility...

Better luck next game!

Lol kinda funny cause you pretty much said the same things I was thinking when I read his post.
Quit limping up trash in the small blind. I might even raise that 2.6 in the small blind but I would never limp it lol. Just because you already have half the bet in there doesn't mean you have to put the other half in with atc's. The more hands you play in a game the more odds you have of getting it in with the better hand and then getting owned. And you want to play 2.6 why?

A good point, its hard when one doesnt cash after going relatively deep. Then again when we do cash its a great feeling.

How i lost it. 200/400 i am sitting cut off, dealt AThh. person to my left has me covered 3:1 and every time i tried to 2bb or 3bb he would raise me most of my stack making it hard to get one by. so i decide i am all in but i want the guy to my left to do the work for me. it folds to me so i bet 2bb and as expected the guy raises to 90% of my stack, which is what i wanted, so i shove, he is committed and calls. he turns over A4dd, as i relish in the thought,"i am ahead" here comes the flop, 3diamonds - blahhh - and thats how i got to the rail. i sympathize with u and i understand ur upset, but this is poker, and u played 26cc, and it doesnt always end the way it should or the way we would want but there is always next time.
