Im definitely gonna look up some info on the book. coming from a person that has never read any poker bok, and beleives in self experience is the best teacher, I may have to take a couple looks on Wikipedia about the book. Some of the people that have read every single poker book, feel like they have grown from it. I say Neh. the best way is to still Grind out , put the hours in. A lot of professionals would probably agree.

Don't waste your time reading SuperSystem.
If you're interested in nlhe Tournament play... first read Harrington On Holdem Vol1&2 (tournament play).. then you might want to pick up the book OP is talking about (Kill Everyone).

Just a suggestion... coming from a guy who's read just about every nlhe tournament play book out there (at least all the good ones) & have played over 5,000 mtt's.

Pretty naive response imo. You have an opinion on whether or not reading poker books would help & yet you say you haven't read poker books? How does that work, lol.
I've played on your table (a few times) & as far as tournament play goes... I'd suggest you might benefit from reading a book.

Thank you for the recommendation. I will definitely head over to Barnes and Noble. They may have this title, but if not it will be worth the try. The woman that works at the register, my neighbor. Don't mind stopping by there to get a look at her. A flirt and poker book in one day, should make a good attempt at a ring later on.

Thanks for the tip on the book , SofaKing . I'm always willing to learn new ways to improve my game ! Lol @ LevernC ( I have down loaded 33 of them ) , you will need a lot of spare time to read all those books . Good luck to you on that ! I think I have 50 to 60 articles on my computer that I should read again & then maybe a trip to the Library to see what else is new!
Good luck to all , 187 !

"Kill Everyone" by Lee Nelson is on my reading list for certain. I haven't read a book in ages but occasionally I think about studying this game and wonder what books are good. It always comes highly recommended. Definitely in the top five of suggested books.

I have a number of poker books and think the Harringtons books are the best. If you want to be a good player they are must reads.
