I would like to mention that two members (NateVest and Harbinger) have been banned in the past two days for violating the terms of agreement with Poker.org.

Although their nicknames are irrelevant, the point I am trying to make is not.
  • Do not cheat in the poker league.
  • Do not steal content from other sites just to earn points.

We monitor these things on a regular basis and if you get caught, we enforce permanent bans.

Why do we not negotiate? Because we would much rather spend our time developing the site and helping out the 99% who obey the rules and play fair.

Who does not comply, will suffer the consequences!!!! it is very correct in my opinion!!
if there are not rules would be chaos, everyone should do what he wants and this is not good!!!
you're wrong, you pay!!!!!

Gotta admit, it's nice to see a "no discussion ban" for major rule-breaking.

Good to know that rules are enforced and that matters are conducted behind closed doors. That way we all know where we stand!

Good job!
Its good to be at a pokerforum where 'we' have a serious and adult approche.
I really have seen to much at forums people can do what they want and never get punished or something for breaking rules. maybe 2 or more less, but at the end good for this site!

btw: sorry to you scotty, hope you will find another team or teamowner

At least I know not to ever step out of line and I should probably review the rules for Poker.org to know the rules. If I may ask, what was the supposed "cheating"?

Liars, cheaters (any form), thieves and litterbugs are all traits (or lack thereof) in ppl I can not stand.
Thank you for keeping us all honest!

Thats good. I like seeing people get suspended and not given another chance when they break the rules. I like the way org is handling it too. Just another reason why this is the best forum going nowadays.

In this particular case, the mentioned player would write to another member on the site and ask him to do/not do certain things, while both of them played in the league.

You don't really need to read the list of rules. It's standard stuff. Those who get banned are essentially saying, "oh, I didn't know I was allowed to steal content" and "what do you mean I can't call him a f*cking fa**ot?"

I think common courtesy, common sense, honesty and respect should cover it.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. Altho, as Einstein says...“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.” That is true in every single aspect of today's society, sad, but true.

Some have the attitude of well there's no nice in poker. But common courtesy and sugar coating something are totally different ends of the spectrum.

At any rate the admins do an outstanding job of keeping things running smooth, fun, and fair here at org and it's tremendously appreciated.
