Our household has many computers in it in fact everyone here has their own pc, we are not one’s for too much television these days. Anyway my wife plays poker almost everyday online. She is still an active member at the last poker forum I use to belong to. She is a rather good player as far as spouses go, but don‘t tell her I said that. She started playing seriously about 4 years ago in weekly hosted tournaments at that forum.

I talked her into joining my previous forum some years back, but she didn’t like it at first so she didn’t play much there her first 4 months or so. She has accumulated quite a profile page there ( they issue icon accolades for wins and stuff ) in her 4 years playing there, in fact she has won more of their hosted tournaments than and other female player there, wonder where she learned that skill?

We meet a lot in the same tournaments we use to play and it was always fun to see who could knock who out of the game, over the years I think we are about even on that score. Out of the two of us I’d say we are pretty evenly matched. What about you two, who’s the better player, but before ya leave a comment, you best find the spare blanket and pillow for the couch tonight…

My wife does not play. She tolerates my play because as far as vices go it is not the worst of the lot.

My wife is a better player than me and I have no problems stating that fact. Russ, Sandy is quite the player herself. I hate seeing her at my table.

My wife doesn't really care to play poker, but she sure knows how. I used to stay on the computer for long hours playing, and one night I was deep in a freeroll tourny for quite a bit of money, but I was to tired to continue, so I asked my wife if she would play for me. Well know what? She won it. Now I know I'm the better player, but if I came into that situation again, and even for a buy in, I would not have a problem giving it over to her.

My girlfriend dont care for it. For awhile she thought I was playing for "FAKE" money until I cashed out. She dont mind she ask everynight, " How much did we win?" She would like me to spend more time on the weekends but hay Im in a league and I am a dedicated player.

My better 1/2 doesn't play but tolerates my fishing, drinking, womanizing, and poker. I tolerate her doing all the cooking, cleaning, ironing, masaging, yardwork, pool cleaning, shopping, and car washing.

THAT'S A JOKE LADIES .... I do help some with the yardwork.

Love the thread post, Russ, and especially the topic. Interesting and intriguing question to ask, so props to ya on that Hon. Hope to see you and Sandi much more in the future as we did in the past.

As far as my fiance and I go, MPV and myself are for the most part evenly matched as far as that goes. Skill wise he's much more advanced in that area as well as he has won much more. Does that have anything to do wit the fact I have only been playn for almost 2 years? Some of that is a factor in it for sure, but as far as the match up we are fairly even. We have BOTH had our share of knocking one another out of a tourney as well as beating one another heads up and exchanged some friendly "all in fun" words after a game as well *giggles*

I think it's a great think that couples both play and enjoy doing so. Live life, enjoy, respect, and cherish the one your wit and let your hair down and raise a lil hell even. :P~~

I have truly been blessed wit the most amazing man and we share so many common interests that makes things that more fun and endearing to one another.

My husband does not know a club from a diamond nor does he care to. He is not into gambling either. He does know that I enjoy both and has no problem with me playing.

The wife works from home, we have a dedicated isp for the house and she has her own isp provided to her from the company she works for, we pay for it and they reimburse her with a check each month, but it goes on her wages, price ya pay to work at home I guess.

I've played poker with my girlfriend before. She spends the entire time trying to learn how to play, and what to do, and when to bet, and asking me if a flush beats two pair...and then beats me. Brutal.
