I've been part of many poker type clubs, easiest way to get known in a community is to be active. I am pretty active on about 4 four forums each of the sites I've made some great poker friends.

So this is your first poker club you ever joined? How did you find this place? You been playing since 2003. Is that online?

I can tell you from experience you will get to know everyone on here really closely (as close as you can get online) if you just post everyday or every other day. I used to post pretty heavily, and can say I know regular members pretty well. You don't have to do much, but if you have a good idea or a new idea, just post it and see what people think. I'll give you your first idea. I'd be kind of interested to hear how you found poker while in Iraq. Might not be as interesting as I may think, but I'd like to hear it. Anyway, that's enough rambling

I don't think tha'ts rambling at all Max. Than's actually a great suggestion. I think it's allways quite interesting to find out how people got involved in playing this great game of poker and when they started in another country it's also interesting to to learn about the ins and outs of poker in that country. We tend to assume that poker is the same everywhere but are there different things that are accepted in one country and not in another. I bet there are a lot of interesting stories from people telling us how they got involved in playing poker online and what it is exactly the brought them to eventually join Poker Org. Thanks for this.
