I see tv shows or play pro. most of the time i prefer online poker though... what do you do?

Just noticed myself a while back that the only thing I do at my PC (except serfing the web) is playing poker. Before I used to play games, mostly emulation, but that had stopped aswell. I seem to have too many hobbies. My daughter and I care for and ride horses(she is the competitor) I help out with conformation dog shows from time to time (belong to a rescue organization for collies) I like to paint, but haven't done much of that in the past couple years. I have written a ton of short stories, totally fiction and have a good chunk of a novel completed (I would love to have it published someday, at the very least) I have 3 kids as well.. one still in high school, 1 in college, 1 just finished college and looking for work. I work 3 days a week, as well. Sounds busy huh? I spread it out enough, so I don't get bored.

I am always trying to find something to fill my time with, usually something with a bit of a challenge.

Yes, i totally agree. You should admit you have a problem because you go away from the computer.
Computers are man's best friend IIRC.

Poker online is stress relief for me work too many hours
but like to go out to eat every friday and sat and take in a movie here and there
but think of the games i missed lol

I use to try and do it all too!! I have had to teach myself how to realax. I have one child that has finished college and looking for full time work( only part time atm) and another that is in first year at college. I spend as alot of time with my family when they are home. I worked part time and stopped about 3 years ago. I cook, clean shop and everything everyone else has to do and still manage to be fairly active in the forums and at the tables. Anything i do online is purely entertainment and helps to break up my day. I love to play online poker and have never played live. lol But having lots of fun progressing day to day. I watch alot of reality tv and of course have a few other favourites. Just chillin these days and trying not to sweat the small stuff.

I retired from a very busy career 3 years ago and and did some contract work for a while. But now I can truly say I'm a retiree. My mom passed away just before I deciced to retire and I've been pretty busy taking care of My dad. Even though he is in a retirement home, I still need to take him to all his appointments and I find that I actually visit him more now than I did. I've all ways played games online: Euchre and poker mostly but I do play other games I truly enjoy playing poker and lately I've been doing more reading on the subject. I love to watch movies ... all kinds of them . I do like a lot of the reallity shows. Howerver I cant't stand Big Brother. I enjoy travelling ... I enjoy going to the casino. I spend time with may sisters anr brother. I like the challenge of playing Poker. I know that I should play more of it but somehow most of the time, my days are too short to allow me to do everything I want to to.

Honestly, no one would want to have me sit by the computer every waking hour. Do you have any idea what that does to a woman's butt? I am thinking if computers are a man's best friend, that might explain the remote control problem men seem to have.

I hear you on that, Pricey. Some days can be overwhelming, most times moms just do what they have to do. I too enjoy playing poker and consider it part of my down time.

My little son wants to play and my wife too ....

Well i guess i am with tzestos and 103 bluffer when i do other things i am thinking of all yje games i missed ..that is when i go to work or when my wife threatens divorce i take her out lol..my real wife gets jealouse of my not real wife..the laptop aka my fantasy world wife.

I'm currently enrolled in college to become a Pharmacy tech.
