Just curious, if you have pocket JJs how would you play them, and how you would play them as to your position at the table?

Pocket JJs can be tough. Early position I would likely raise to try and weed out the rabble. Late, and depending on the number of calls, I may just call as well. I would think that either way your going to want to see the flop. I had pocket JJs at least 3-4 times in a recent tourny, and well...you know what they say about pocket JJs.

Hate them. That is all. I'm not giving advice cause they just suck.

Depends on how much the game is worth cheap or free games early ill want to see the flop end of game pushing a lil but bigger cash games im werry and tend to slow play them they get beat on me to many times by an ak wanting to see the turn or river and them thinking u were playin the same hand more then likely will call ur bet if u push

Awww I hate JJs... its a hard hand to play... if in early position I will raise x3, more or less, and try to see the flop. If I am near the bubble I might raise a bigger amount as players play thighter in that instance.
If on late position... if no calls I might make a small raise to see if i can get a 1 on 1 and get some money... if some calls then I will close to see the flop and hope no flush/str8 draw... or higher card on flop.
Always hard to play... I like more to get AAs

Its not a hand I love that much. It all depends on my feeling, and how the tourney have run so far, and who I'm at the table wth. Like Migo I tend to be careful with that hand

I treat them very carefully. You need to see a flop for sure. A K or Q on the flop you may already be behind. Of course if your short stacked you shove and pray.

Agree!! I try to see a flop before risking all my chips (unless, of course, shortstacked). A friend has a great quote about JJ...."Three ways to play pocket J's, all wrong" In most cases this is true, but a players' decision is absolutely made easier once a flop is seen.

The key to winning with JJ is knowing when to call vs fold i play them like i play 33 44 55 66 77 88 99 see a flop when you can if you dont hit a set then its a eazy fold on a flop of qka lol

It depends on the position that i have on my table...the kind of players that are playing at my table..if the table is loose i will probably just call a big rase and maybe fold on the flop if 3 or more players are involved in the pot and i get a reraise..if the players are tight i rase and rerase them..it depends on my stack to..if a have more then 30 BB i will probablly rerase often if not i will go all inn or even fold.
