Sometimes and i cant understand how carbon poker sofware function like this. In this poker site i think allays the donk hands win noth the dominating hands ! You can expect to lose with everything until you dont see the last card from the flop the river. This is my first poker site and i play at carbon poker more than 4-5 years and i saw many brutal beats and many lucky situations. I think that i am masochist cuz i am still playing at this poker site. From few mounth i start playing at Poker Stars and the softwear at this poker site is the best belive me ! You cant build really huge stack from nothing cuz the tournamets are really big with small entry.

Rofl...I hear ya there...Unfortunately it's how it works. It does get better tho as it comes and goes. I used to love merge and would only play here. Now wit wuts goin on wit usa players I haven't much other choice, but I did for a while play elsewhere whenever I played a sng etc, once merge started gettin all kinds of funky :P~~ Hang in there it will get better ;)

Carbon has some bad card running. I have flopped the nuts and someone beats me by runner runner. It comes and goes but you just have to deal with it. It sometimes looks intentional but it would be hard to prove. I just deal with and hope to not get sucked out.

Yeah, I've flopped the nut flush several times and got beat out by a full house with runner runner cards (see the hand I posted). It's frustrating, but it's just poker.

Sometimes it seems like they want to create some extra drama.
Couple of days ago I got all in with AK against a slightly larger stack (he had pocket sixes).
Flopped the straight! Cards came: Flop - JTQ; Turn - Q; River - Q

Seems like merge is set up for max outs, max potential for lucky draw outs. There is skill involved dont get me wrong here, so if you get anything like suited connectors or something chances are merge is gonna reward you. You can perdy much plainly see when old school poker with top hands only is working. Any other time be ready for suck out draw out mania

Yes lately there has been alot of nonsense river landing I have had some really bad beats the last couple of weeks from the river. But thats merge for you. either river dumping or flopping the hands or several AA KK 99 all at once to knock people out,

No its not just you.i think merge is the single biggest joke since the early bodog days.ive seen countless hands where there would be 4 all ins.it be like aa vs qq.vs ak vs 64 and the worst hand going in wins the majority of the time.thats internet poker.its not only in freerolls.happened to me quite a few times in larger buy in tourneys as well.

Its crazy see the worse hand win too much although ive had the worse hand like qq and knock out aa and kk so it even outs

Not Just You!! Although I like Carbon and Felt....Merge does come with some very crazy crap to deal with! "You've been Merged".

Merge Gaming is a network like all network my opinion is all network have they own badbeat and especialy river why you not try Ipoker to see what is means to be rivered always

I think all sites are the same when it comes to poker ... We are complaining about Carbon now because tht's there we play these games. But it seeems to me that when we were playing on another site, everyone complained about that one too.
Every site has it's downfalls and if you play on that site long enough, you start to see them .
When that happens ... everyone complains . Truth is that if you wre playing live poker, you would probably still be compaining about the bad cards you got and whos someone was so luckky on this hand or that one. .... Poker is poker ... I think it must be in the poker players make up to want to blame something else for the losses we take.

Well said mrllnca. Stands to reason that the more you play the more you will see. Suckouts, bad hands, rivers, bad flops, all of it occur at every single site online. Yes, it is the players who need to pin blame.

We all were born to complain if somethings good you wont hear a peep out of anyone, but I do agree the rivers on all merge sites are killers, I find cake a bit better I really do for some reason maybe it likes me better!

I went out in 5 min of the 150 seats to the 150K. I flopped nut straight vs set Q's. I get rivered.
