Now all we need is pokerstars back to the u.s. market .. i really have to hand it to pokerstars out of all the sites they came out the least shady compared to the whole scandals with ultimatebet & ftp.

I see this as very good news. they are perhaps freeing the funds , hopefully just in time to invest in "legal" USA poker.....could be right around the corner me thinks

IMHO, this is all good news for saving future tax dollars unnecessarily being wasted when the good 'ole USA has far bigger issues to deal with.

However... that being said...

If I had over 10k at FTP..... I'd be wary as hell. Offshore banking laws could be used against you by the government.

If I had less than a couple hundred, I'd walk away and not even attempt to claim. Not worth the forthcoming IRS audit. BTW, this is where I'm at. Just write it off as a bad date and move on.

For everyone else in between..... I would consult with an attorney and accountant before subjecting myself to the potential IRS scrutiny that will make your life a living hell. Innocence is not the issue, with the IRS, you are presumed guilty.

All that said, if a unsolicited check happens to show up from the US Treasury, hey, cool.

Yeah definitely! A couple things I missed about FTP was the Rush Poker ring games, and then also the Matrix SnGs. I'm not sure if anybody ever played the Matrix SnGs but they were real fun

Great news to hear, I just hope the good ole US of A gets their butt in gear so I can play on these sites once again. Sure do miss playing on both sites.

Hope it all work's out for you (and everyone else) and you receive your money, as for myself I didn't have money stuck on Poker Star's or Full Tilt, oh I take that back, I believe I have 10 cents left on Star's. Yes it would be great to play on Star's once again. Anywho good luck to you.

My uncle will find this news great, he is owed over 5000 i believe, but, i am still scared to put any real money anywhere! I am much better off playing brick and mortar for REAL MONEY. Sorry online sites, just still dont have too much faith in the human spirit, or for the greedy people out there.
