Now i have not been following this whole thing with pokerstars and fulltilt and the government and that for ahile now (thought it was just all bs) but i am thinking in the back of my mind if pokerstars decided to buy (or actually pay off the govt) so they could open fulltilt to us players since pokerstars isnt now. Kind of as a trial run to see how things go this time. Just a thought. What you all think?

I will never ever go back to fulltilt and be a depositing player. Not under that brand or any of the same former employees and operators that is for sure

Part of the settlement is that PS and FTP exit the US market. I think if there is legal online poker in the US you may see a "new" company running a skin of FTP start up. I am sure it would be legally a different company, but only on paper

That's a quite drastic thing to say considering the fact that the new management is PokerStars, who handled Black Friday exceptionally well. No one of the former FTP board remains at that company. It's essentially the same site but without the crooks.

Personally, I will make a deposit there as I miss their software.

I would absolutely head back to FullTilt I loved that site besides what happened...It was my favorite by far I would also play at Pokerstars as well. Truthfully it may just be wishfull thinking but I kind of think the reason they are holding our funds so long is because they want to offer the option of keeping your bankroll in play before cashing out if approved by the U.S. for licenseing...

Wow everyone writes blogs and wat not about how these companies are fraudulent and scammers yet everyone wants to be part of it, still.
No room for error when it comes to something like this. You screw one person over and you should be banned for life.
That's why I love the US and the US laws on gambling. Any other country and these fools would be able to come right back in and do the same thing again. Take your money and not want to pay.
Just say a sorry and get celebrities to wear gear with your logo. As soon as you hit your mark or have gotten greedy enough, just run. Run again, and start all over after some time passes.

I would love to play at full tilt again. I won quite a bit of money and had no issues. Lucky for me when black Friday started I had only 25 dollars in my poker account and already recieved my winnings from them

If PokerStars isn't currently available for real money play to players in the States, I can't see how after they acquire and relaunch FullTilt that it'd be open to the USA. From what I've heard in the podcasts I listen to and blogs I read, early November is the expected re-launch of FullTilt, but that would only be play money for the US players.

It's definitely wishful thinking . . . . everyone should be clear on this by now, FTP does not have your money, nor do they owe you anymore. US players will not have balances on FTP.

The US government is who owes you, assuming you can show that they owe you and not the other way around.

Seriously doubt they'll be in the US market any time soon if at all.

They'll only open to US players if your government gives them full permission to do so. That's not going to happen any time soon, especially if Mitt gets voted in. I don't think the new FullTilt should be held accountable for the old FullTilt's sins. They are now owned by Pokerstars and Pokerstars was one of the first to refund funds to US players, so give them credit for that.
