I would get involved but its so hard to get that mant people over 10 weeks.

What happens if players start falling way behind the leader? They would stop playing. I think you would need to have them pay up front for it to work. Another thought is to have 12 tournaments and your top 10 finishes count. That would attract people who may not be able to play every game of the league

I had played in WSOP qualifier once only top 5 ppl got a seat to the WSOP online finals i was one of them. The winner of the finals would get a seat in Las Vegas WSOP tournament but the problem is out of like 1000's of ppl you have to come first to get that seat which i felt was just too much,to come first out of 100's of players is different and out of 1000's of players is totally different and nerve racking i cudnt perform well.

Don't see me going to a WSOP anytime soon. $10 is still more than I feel comfortable playing with. Since I keep smaller bankrolls available for poker since it can be taken in a moments notice.
Would be comfortable with $3 or $5 buyins since I would have 100 buyins on several sites. But just don't see myself willing to lose $1000 on a site , to play $10 games when funds can be confiscated over the weekend. I am stuck playing small ball until the regulations get sorted out.

I.d play in 1 but yes ten dollarsa game is steep with a mini bankroll.now if i ever go back to work anything is possible.

Yeah I would play something like that and actually did play a home league where we had 26 people pay 100 bucks at the beginning and we played friday one week then saturday the next for 8 months and we had a point system at the end there was two final games one was a graduated chip count based on the points earned and the other was a top 10 tourny. the two winners got $1000 seat and $300 for travel expenses to the wsop. I had fun playing in it and would be willing to play in an online version too.

Another idea would be that top 3 (or top 10, whatever) of every week tournament to be registered to a final tournament, so, as lkport said, people who would be left behind wouldn't stop playing the serie, and, to keep the previous winners still playing in, with the final tournament chipsize according on the numbers of top 3 finishes, I guess none would be so lucky to have deep runs so often.

I think they shoudl do one for the wsop c events 1st. that way teh buyin is much smaller ,and the new player could get there feet wet in teh shallow end instead of jumping right off into the deep end. in the wsop taht runs in vegas evry year. the smallest wsop braclet event buyin is 1k. in the wsop c events the smallest buyin is $355.plus in the wsop c events field of players are like 700 and less. in the wsop in vegas looking at 3k plus in players in every event.

I believe that WOSP league, amateur game category addresses but more advanced people who until now have had some success in this game. Your idea is wonderful and I would enjoy if r to put in practice, but do not know if they were players who play every tournament because of the cost of a ticket.
