My husband and I also both have an account on Carbon. And we are also on the same .org Team. But we never play in the same .org tourney. I usually play on Saturdays and he takes Sundays. I reached 80 points here before he did so I won the right to play in "The Big One" Woo-hoo

LOL I'll see you there. and a couple playing poker sounds fun, especially under the same roof.
Its not right...but its posible....how???
i think :need it 2 IP adress..and two different internet networks!!!
if they are these things... can play without any problem...
the same tourney..the same hour!!!
ITS VERY LOGIC!
Wow ok i guess i didnt get an answerwhat im askin is i have a player that wants himself and his wife to play on org series at same time every event can they do that?
I doubt it can be done. Myself and Tara have never been allowed to join a league game at the same time, except when she was still in Florida. The software does not allow players from the same IP adress to sign into a league game. From Ive heard though, if one of em had a laptop they could do to say a McDonalds and register for the game. Once you're registered it doesn't matter where you play from.
I think Team Becks has it right. It's the IP address you are at when registering for that particular tournament that determines it. Whether it's 'right' or not.
So if i had classylady and goodtry join my team they couldnt play at same time in the league series i guess im waitin for either guru or royal knight to answer but thanks.
We used to host private micro cash games on stars and tilt...quite often we would have a brother and sister playing from the same house....also a mother and daughter....and husband and wife....
we never experienced a single negative issue from these players...the very opposite we found to be true...they were great supporters of our games and always played tough against eachother when they were in hands together....
tbh tho...we knew these players well...and i would have trusted them if they had been sat around the same living room table with their laptops facing eachother....
no idea how they did it tho...w-lan..??..diff ip addresses...??..permission from the host site..??..no idea at all.
Well i use to be a member of a forum and when we played, there was a player that had 3-4 different names in the same private game, dont ask me how he did it but he did, i guess you could go it if you had more then 1 phone line then the ip addreses would be different, and to me thats cheating, that person got banned from the forum
the admin. and the owner of the forum are members here, so they would remember that players name
I am corous about that also. My son visits and we like to play together, dont think we ever played same game thou.
Royal if you find anything out about this can you make it known to us

I already know the answer but i will try to find the post.
Just copied this from the Q and A (FAQ) about the league.
Can me and my wife/brother/roommate both play in the league? No, to be fair to all players we only allow one event entry per household. If two people from the same household register for an event whoever registered last will have their registration cancelled and points returned to them.
I think it should be legal, why not have a couple play in the same tournament. If they are both good why not let them meet at the final table. Me and my wife have played in the same tournament many time, we have never made it to the same table so they might have software to stop people with the same IP address from connecting to the same tournament.
