I see two games left that you can register for. Both are for the next two Saturdays (7/14 & 7/21). Until further notice, those are it. Make the most of them folks, this might end this session. Really hope we can make those games up. There were a certian amount of games from the start and personally I would like to compete in each and everyone.

It has been a longer session, but playing a shorter session doesn't seem like a good thing to me especially since we don't even have another one scheduled. If you can't make the make up games then you can't make them. Teams who have more than two people have nothing to worry about.

Last spring was cut short due to Black Friday. Had a team mate who was competing for the top spot and was gaining grown. It ended with her a few points from away from winning it. Someone tell her how fair that was.

I agree,i would hope they reschedule these games before the big game at the end,it's just a pain as the lge was at the stage where e1 was raring to go on Sat/Sun and then this happened again,i would prefer to have the game on Sat and Sun this week and put the other scheduled game in for next week on the Sat and have the last game on Sunday but i don't know if it's as easy as that.I have said before i think RK should be in charge of sending in the sheets if he has time and is willing to and also if Guru,etc would let him but i don't know if Guru would let him,it would sort out the problems and Guru wouldn't have to worry about some random sheet for a tournie when he has so much else going on at the moment and especially if he has health issues to deal with,i think it would suit everyone that way.Gl whatever they do and see u all at tables.

The list was never turned in so the error was on Carbon for allowing old tickets to be used for future events. Some tickets work, some didnt.

You guys/gals need to stop stressing yourselves over a freeroll. There is not many forums that offer a free league and free $$$$.

I agree rn let guru get out of hospital and will take from there weather we make up games or just do without them we need to think about the summer series getting started whatever the out come if we do make up the games the points will mostlikely be put back to your accounts before everyone stresses over that , guru will do whats right i never worry about a out come like this

We can all suppose and what if, but really until the powers that be are able to make a decision, nothing will really get resolved will it. Let Guru recouperate and we can all move on from there. Get well guru.

Just play the last 2 games and call it a session. I would seriously think about makein some changes before ya even start another league though this one was ran like a bunch of first timers havein a holdem tourney.

If they do need to reschedule make damn certain people have atleast 2 weeks notice now alot of people are makein plans to rescue whats left of summer.

I knew it was Carbon's mistake and that was mighty nice of them to take poker.org's $$$ and have a tournament when they know Guru always sends in a list. They need to to wake the hell up over there as no one should ever have an old ticket to use unless it was a coupon or seat you won from Carbon. Also they know we never have a game with only 4 or 5 players shows you how much they pay attention and the fact that their own software has a glitch in it then fix it. Our coupons you use if you registered and if you don't use them and registered for the tournament of that week oh well you snooze you lose, this should never have happened. I could take a backseat and say I don't care but it's just the principle to me. Pots

Can never understand why people get so upset over mishaps such as this. The last forum I belong to also had issues with games not getting listed properly due to one reason or another. infact I don't beleive there is any poker forum online that hasn't had issues with games not going off as planned in their calendar, it's bound to heppen one time or another. What I find really odd is that people seem to think just becasue they belong to a forum they have a right to expect something for nothing, especially when things go wrong. You can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time. I know what it takes to run a poker forum as a business and I for one do not get bent all out of shape when a lil' mishap takes place for a scheduled game, freeroll or cash prizes included.

Its always been like it is since day 1.

Guru runs the league and if he wanted help he would have done so.

We ran more problems than cancelled games in the past. If ioi wanted to step in for Guru, ioi would have done so.

Like they said many times in the past. We do not know what goes on behind the scenes. If we had knowledge of it, maybe we would understand why they do things the way they do.

Sure we have our opinions or thoughts on how we would have done things differently.

When Guru has the time to speak to me when he is feeling better, maybe I can help him in running the league better and smoother in the future.

This forum does not participate in the OFC events. Nor does it allow you to male introductions as a starter thread. That there should ring a bell that this place is different and is run different than the other forums. They have their own goals on how and what they want to run a forum. If he does reschedule, the list will be carried over and the only way to get points back is to unreg on the new date,

If he does not reschedule, then you will get points back when the results are updated. And how do we know if the results are updated? When you go to the calendar of the events, it will say so.

Maybe I would feel differently if I played the league from the begining and I know I've only played just a few games this series so far....but like RK said, not many forums offer this kind of freeroll where you have a great shot to finish ITM.

So the way I see it is we should be greatful we can be apart of a poker forum that offers such things.....for free. As for missing the games putting a hindrance on teams going for the win....well yes I see how you would be upset about working hard all season and having the time to catch the leaders only to have that time taken away.....but its not like there wasnt a good reason for this happening.....guru is in the hospital.....to me that is a better reason then...well.....all.
