I think poker.org is doing a good job already offering folks buckets of money on the weekends.
I mean I have written down, Sundays 400pm ET Carbon $11 entry $15K GTD

The top 4 players Saturday and the top 4 players Sunday in the poker.org tourneys win enough funds to buy into the 15K GTD Sundays at 4:00pm ET.

I'm up for that. Another forum I'm on was offering trips to Vegas and some buy-ins to live OFC tournaments. Last year my crew won and it was great meeting my team mates in real life. Black friday put an end to that because of the lack of sponsorships from the poker sites. I'm not sure Poker.org could pull something like this off for the same reasons. Count me in if they do though.

Its an interesting idea, managing the dynamics and getting together a group of people who will administer the process will be the key challenge in accomplishing this. In any case best wishes if you plan to take this idea forward.

It is very good idea i think,but i should say i like the idea of making a leader board freroll with good prize better.i mean something like other froum that even pay to leader board say 20 of them a prize even make a good freeroll with a good prize for top leader board players.
i guess the idea of making a top club players playing i live tournoment is good idea,if that event worth playing but i guess those cost alot

I also feel poker.org does enough.... Its there money and were getting greedy here and asking for too much. If they want to give thats on them but who wants to give money away, not me. If Guru has bags of money or can write it of on taxes then let him offer. Im thankful for this site and the money they give and Carbons money. Anyways lets not piss off Guru or will all end up with nothing.

Online and live poker are different maybe top players here would not do as well playing live just saying. And as RK said who is going to pick up the tab I sure in the hell don't have $500 to spend on a buy in Tony. But if I did I could sure use the money if I placed. I do play better live then online I have done fairly well. I play the $60 BI's at Harrah"s which is about 20 mins. from my house and that kind of money is in my ballpark. Pots

Coming from someone that cant afford to this on his own, love the idea! however, if .org were to adapt this change, chances are the money used for the freerolls would be the money used. i would rather keep playing the way things are, than to have to play 25 games for free, cuz if only one team is winning then that means the other 20+ teams are playing each weekend for free. as fun as a trip sounds, guaranteed money is better!
