...With the Winter Weekend Series set to start it’s first league series on September 16, 2012 it looks to be the largest field every to play in a poker.org league series game to date. With 124 players registered to date to play and yet another week to go before the start of the first tournament, the field of players looks very likely to surpass the largest field of 132 players set last year in December in the 2011 Winter Weekend Series.

The 2012 Winter Weekend Series also looks to have one of the biggest field on teams to participate in any league series. With many returning teams and some newly formed teams vying to compete in the upcoming series, it could very well be the biggest series of teams and players to participate in any poker.org league series.

I know many are anticipating the start of the new league series and with a week still to go, I think we’ll see a few more independent players and possible a few more teams sign up for the start of what will no doubtable be the biggest and most competitive series yet to date on poker.org, so rally your troops and we’ll see y’all all on the felts...
