I must say i totaly agree with ya. thanks to poker.org.i also dont deposit.i was asked back in march if i would join and play on my friends team. i said might as well i dont have any cash on carbon. so after 12 tourneys from the league series i had a decent roll from takeing 2nd 3x for 90 total and another final table placeing for 7.50.with just under a bill on carbon i decide to try and build up my roll.i jumped in .5/.10 table nl. after about 40 hands i left with 20.00 . then i jumped in afew bounty tourneys .i cashed in 5/6 of them with atleast knocking out 2,3 players in each one.to get my buy back in and be freerolling them.i also got 2 x 11 satlite tickets and got a 109 satlite ticket to 125k cant wait to play that.so yes this site has helped me build up a bankroll on sites even tho i will never deposite.wish ya all the best in continued luck.this place rocks . its the best online poker community i have ever seen :)

Great news Mike, keep it going ! It sounds like you made good decisions even before sitting down at a table, which I find important to do myself when playing on merge especially,with soft fields and overlays. Like Eric said earlier in this thread, I found the $5 -$10 bounties are a great way to come up quick on merge with a less than $50 dollar br that free rolls can provide to start.

Nice run. Keep it going. As for the comments, who cares, especially if you win. How many of those players have won a hand or two that they should never have been in. Did they say in chat. "I am an fn donkey". LOL, likely not. Many/most tourney are won, taking a chance here and there, and of course some damn river luck. Good Luck all.

I have known for quite some time your a great player. So what if you made a "donkey" play, we all have to do something at some point to make this game work for us. Those who don't, well don't play modern poker and are probably exploited by HUD users. Get a blog going and let us know how it goes. Good luck man

Wow to jump from 15 $ to more than 500 $ is really good result man. The dazzle is a little bit donkey tourney but it looks like you take an big peace from his prizes well done. Be careful from the carbon poker softwear cuz one you make an huge up after an a few days about 2-3 you make an huge down ! Suggest you do not play cash games because carbon takes his money back

Heres the update for the week. 5 ft's. 2 takedowns. Total spent for tours, $135 total won 568. Ring is hard to judge but if you subtract the tour wins and buyins up just over 300. Made the next VIP level, so getting 7.5% daily. Obviously earned the 125 to $125K, so hopefully, win another $109 ticket. Last time I played that finished 31st in freeroll but busted out of the $125K less than 20 spots for the money. Also have accumulate aprroximately $100 worth of tournament tickets via satelites. Been a good week.

I have never deposited on CP. I probably will now, but usually play exclusively on Black Chip Poker due to my rake commitments to another forum. This past Sunday I was blessed enough to finish in 4th place in your league and collect a cool 15 dollars. A certain player here got under my skin with a freeroll donkey comment in a blog and lit a little fire under my butt. So I decided it was time to take the time and effort and see what I could do with the 15 dollars. I decided to play a rebuy called dazzler to start and thankfully I took it down. It was a $186 profit. That was just a nice start.
Over the next few days with now a $200 bankroll, It allowed me to play my true game which is PLO .10/.25. Sometime I decide to move up depending on how I am feeling or better words, how I am running. I have been known to jump up to .25/.50 $100 minimum for about an hour to switch it up. Glad to say that even after a disappointing $120 dollar loss in a late session last evening, my bankroll which was at 8 cents at noon on Sunday is sitting at a nice $553 dollars this morning.
Also with the frequency of my play, and the accumulation of 600 plus points in 2 days, I have been awarded the VIP Earth teir, whikch gives me (1) a 6% daily bonus on my rake for the amount accumulate the day before. Doesn't sound like much, buy when you wake up in the morning and find they rebated some cash to you it's a nice feeling. I am about 100 points short of moving up to the next level which will give me a 7.5% daily bonus. Also, even though I have never deposited, I was awarded the 10K VIP game on the 30th.
None of this would have been possible if it weren't for the league games. Thank you Poker.Org and thanks to every one that called me a free rolling donkey after a questionable play made by me. Some times that's all it take to motivate someone.
