Sicule, against these thoughts, I always say to myself: "what do / how play the players who ca be seen ITM week after week?" Voron won this again, ShocatA is ITM for the n-th time,... "what did they do and I didn't?" On a horrible table card deal, what can you do? Tighten up, wait for good cards, wait for good spots (like HU play), avoid playing (cards) in early stages of the tournament. You can always watch the player ShocatA, he always plays aces and pairs, but for that you have to wait the next year. And I tend to say that it's easy to play with good cards, anyone can do it, the best players play what they get, and raise up even if they get a blow. For me, if I lose a good hand and lot of chips, it's a challenge to get back on my feet in the tournament. Crash is another good model too, but for long standing results ShocatA is better.

You have right but why always me......or you.....and they almost never lose......why ....this i just understand.....i try to see this player how he play....

We have all lost with AA KK time and time again.. We have all ask ourselves what are we doing wrong... All I can say is keep playing your game and things will turn around.. Try no to focus on just the bad beats you get.. Poker is a game that played well over time you will do fine... That is why you see the repeat players you see win.. They all take bad beats too.. They just pick themselves back up and play on.

I have to admit, sometimes it seems like some players get there butts kissed....You have good cards, they have better..They have garbage, and turns into a flush or straight... Its crazy..My theory is they spend more...Maybe i'm jealous, but watch the cards..They speak 4 themselves.

I agree, they must have a large bankroll to gamble with because players on the merge network will call with any two and hit more then not? just the two games this weekend i lost with AA and jj to underpairs. if you have a flush or strait draw on merge put ur chips all in because you will get there 85% of the time. lol

I think every site has this shit... but i want carbon or merge to post the all names of the bad beat pot winners. defintly there are home players in there otherwise why not publish? anyone met someone who won?

Variance is variance, sometimes it hits us, some times it doesn't... @Muck mentions Voron in the examples of "perfect" play...well, he has been favoured with some lucky shots as well...my point is that no matter where we play or against who we play, there will always be a % of luck involved.
passing to the league tourneys subject, I don't really know how many real players are there or how many players have multiaccounts to get several chances to win the tourney money, what I can say is that there's no better feeling than WINNING clean, if a player considers himself good then why to have multiaccounts, there's no quality there just fear and lack of balls, cheaters are just trash, their time will come no matter what

Been there before, some weeks no matter what you have AA KK AK SUITED you always lose. Then there are a few good days that no matter what 2 cards you get you win,,, just have to take advantage of those days. Been on losing steaks for weeks at a time..It is frustrating. Then will build my bank account back up in a single day. Good luck and hang in there.

I had the same problem in last series on lock poker,same software as Carbon,i went on a run where i lost with AA 6 times in a row along with KK and ppl hitting miracle1outers,i even moaned on here about it ,i lost some sick hands but then 1day i went all-in with a low pair against shell and she had QQ and i actually hit my set,i then adjusted my play and went on to do really well in the 2nd half of the series,i will say merge is the worst for badbeats though.You need to get rid of the doubt,there's no use in playing if you think you can't even win with AA,try mixing your game up abit and see what works for you because it's not always about the cards,alot of positional play can help you pick up some blinds if card dead,etc,glin remaining games.

Badbeats are everywhere. Thats Poker. No hand gives you garantie to win.
Some People in OnlinePoker play hands you would never give a cent for and win.
I think its all about stakes you play, the higher the better are Players.
In micro and low stakes are lot off stupid donks at home.
Example you raise AA 5x BB and get 1 call. The Board comes J high 3 times hearts.
Every of your bets where called to Rivercard and you get sucked by 94 hearts.
Who plays that hand ????? There was one heart on Flop and i made 2x potsize bets....

It sounds like your playing some crappy hands. I know you wont win every hand but if you start playing premium hands you will tend to win more than you lose.

Perhaps you should consider 'playing the player' & NOT just the two cards in your hand? Just sayin'....
Anyone (& I mean ANYONE) who whines about donks hitting flops with junk is either a donk or a noob themself. Same goes with anyone suggesting that live play is sooo different from online (in how the cards fall, LOLzz) The main difference is > Online players are much better than your typical live player ainec!!! If you don't realize this then you're not one of the better players obviously.
Spend your time working on your game instead of whining about donks getting lucky or taking badbeats. ... why spend time wasted on something you can do nothing about instead of investing time in something you can do something about > work on your game!

Got beat with AA to A J suited in private tourney last night. Before that had won with them four times before. Something in the math says that is how it should be. Being from USA all I can pretty much play is Merge sites.

You should be able to win on any site, if not then it's not the site. Post Black Friday was playing on all bigger poker rooms. There all the same as far as variance. Some days you just aint going win as much as other days. Sometimes the days turn to weeks. If can't deal with it then look for something else more condusive to your time and state of mind. Poker is obviously not it.

I believe the merge software is inferior to all even cake for that matter.

What other choices do you have being a USA citizen? When you say inferior, can you be more specific? Programing, graphics user friendly? Not a huge fan myself and rarely played with FTP, PS, UB and AP in business but inferior how or to what and why?

Poor guys ! Relax sometimes happen. But you forgot the moments that you are having the same luck at some hands. You remember only the bad ways that you have bean beat and you forget the times that you have beat some guys with craps. This is poker for that i like this game and it is so interesting because you can win with everything if you have enough luck and skill how to play the right hand ! In poker 70 % it's sitoatins and luck and the other 30 % is skills how to bet and play the hand. Some times happen this is poker the best game in the world !

You have peaks and valleys in poker and right now for me..its a valley and its been like that for about a month..There are times i hit a streak and it can last a week or perhaps months..In freerolls chances are better that you wont go deep because of loose players that dont have anything to lose because it didnt cost them a dime to play and they will call with any 2 cards..In buyins, it's generally tighter play depending on the buyin and whether its a rebuy. I try to stay away from the rebuys..GL to you.
