So im not positive but i believe that the Doj made poker legal recently like a few weeks ago.

The doj decided that it is no longer nes to restrict poker cause it was in truth not beneficial to them lol which is mainly the only reason they do anything US GOV...

online poker and online casino are legal in the usa but sports betting is not!!

also there have been a few buy outs of poker sites recently i know mgm purchased one. also there will be a lot of online poker compaines starting new in vegas i heard. :) :)

I think you are misinterpreting some statement else it would be the biggest news on poker sites.

I believe a particular website has agreed to the terms of Doj and has made online poker legal for US. I jus read this on the news recently in poker.org itself if u check it might still be there

They re did the wire fraud act. poker online has not ever been illegal in the US its the transfer of money electronically thats the problem. Now on a state to state basis some state have made it illegal kentucky is one.

The feds seem to manipulate the laws to mean whatever they want.I'm sure some states paid them off ,so they could sell lottery tickets from state to state.By re-interpreting the wire act.
Since they did not intend this to include online poker, which is a by product of their recent interpretations, its still going to be a fight, but a good attorney should be able to convince the courts of the feds folly.

I read the same thing on this site. That the DOJ changed there stance in online poker. They stated it was a game of skill, and not of chance. So They sad it wasnt in there best interest too fight. Sportsbetting is a game of chance however like the gentleman or lady above stated, you cant bet sports in US. However you can bet poker and be fine. The Senate will need to pass some bills for it, but its legal.

Yes, I read about the DOJ changing the laws too. I am hoping the US will have a site owned and regulated in the US.
