So I'm currently playing in a small tournament at PokerStars and something hit me when I looked at the player list.. Look at the beauty of poker. I'm currently playing against Brazil, Turkey, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Russia, Hungary, Spain, Australia, Ukraine, Romania, Russia, Cyprus, Germany.. Well, the list goes on.

Only one country missing and its online poker ban seems even more ridiculous when you look at it from this perspective..

Your teasing us a bit IOI. Adigbbn I'll politely disagree with your statement sir. Its a complete shame that I can not play on all poker sites any time of my choosing.

The United Corporations of America were behind on the internet and their duly bought representatives protected them from fair trade until they could find an advantage for their stockholders.
They are now ready to gouge their serfs, so that is why it will soon be legal for us peons.

It is definitely depressing. It really shows how much I miss playing on Full Tilt. They had the best tournaments, ring games, freerolls, etc. It's definitely memories I'd like to have back, but oh well. I think we'll have those rights back one day. Stupid government... sigh.

I enjoyed FTP too, but they still have my money and I was only a few points away from a hoodie when the DoJ ceased the site. It's pretty funny when I think about it now; sitting there multi-tabling .25/.5 and limping as much as possible and then checking how many points I had.

Kind of ironic isnt it. America once boosted and may still boost itself as land of the free. Well as a american to all my over seas friends, i will tell you now, that is complete BS. On top of that the government of this country warmongers and fear mongers more then any other nation.

To say im not happy with the direction this country has gone is a understatement. Im certain that the for fathers of this country roll over in their graves appalled by the state of the current "american dream". Its a literal joke to say the least. But ya im not gonna get into, because it is what is is and it don't matter what the people here say.

Ironically, we can go in any US Public Library and surf hardcore porn nonstop.
All done in full view of other library patrons of all ages.

But send a bit of our own (after-tax) moneys to a foreign gaming site...
Sorry buddy, Attorney General of the United States Eric Holder would like to have a word with you.

I have heard that poker is on it's way to becoming illegal again, in the next few years of course. I honestly have no idea what is going on in the poker world as of right now, I am clueless. But I have heard that it may come back within 2 years. I just wanted to see if you guys knew anything about it, a confirmation would be nice.

I would be really happy, I miss Full Tilt a lot. It's been pretty bland lately without it.
